General Hospital Spoilers UPDATE Friday, April 28: Calling In Favors, Uncomfortable Questions, Sneaky Maneuvers

General Hospital spoilers and updates for Friday, April 28 tease calling in favors, uncomfortable questions and sneaky maneuvers. Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) called in a favor and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) tries to, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) has uncomfortable questions, and Brick (Stephen A. Smith) makes a sneaky maneuver.

General Hospital Spoilers: Jordan Ashford Has Questions

Port Charles Police Commissioner Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) seems at loose ends as she questions if something is the only option they have. Security Exchange Commission agents arrested Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and they’re looking for Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) who’s on a rescue mission. Perhaps the SEC agents are pressing Jordan to have him extradited from the mission for questioning in the states.

This would rattle Jordan considering Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) life is at stake and her ex, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) is on the mission along with Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis)! But there’s a possibility it could be about something else as well, perhaps about the favor Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) called in.

GH Spoilers: Calling In Favors

Still in her hospital room at General Hospital, Anna had been talking to Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) about warnings. On the rescue mission team along with Drew, Laura and Curtis is also Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). After hearing what Holly had to say about what Ethan Lovett (James Ryan) had overheard while in captivity, she was concerned they were walking into a trap. Anna’s likely still talking to Robert and Holly as she tells them she called in a favor, since she wanted to get WSB backup to the location.

General Hospital Spoilers: Caution Requested

At Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) bunker near Greenland, Curtis and Valentin are already there as Curtis cautions him it’s not a time for personal vendettas. Several lives are at stake within the compound, including Trina’s, Liesl Obrecht’s (Kathleen Gati) and Valentin’s great-nephews, Spencer and Ace Prince-Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez, Joey and Jay Clay). This has to be done right or they could blow the whole operation to smithereens.

They’re exercising great caution in spite of not having yet been warned they could be walking into a trap. Valentin knows better than to assume that they’re not, where his father is concerned.

GH Spoilers: Laura Collins Agrees

Laura agrees, saying she likes the sound of that, as she too is at the bunker already, along with, presumably, Drew. He said it was seven hours to the location from Port Charles and seven hours back, so there’s no way he could have been detained. Although taking down Victor and putting a stop to his evil plan is a priority, priority number one is retrieving and returning his hostages safely. Trina, too is considered a hostage even though she was a stowaway, as well as Spencer who was lured to the Haunted Star by Victor.

General Hospital Spoilers: Uncomfortable Questions

Back in Port Charles at the Quartermaine mansion, Willow has uncomfortable questions for Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) after Carly’s arrest. Since Michael is co-CEO of Aurora Media along with Drew, and the agents are after Drew as well, she asks if they will bring charges against him as well. Michael has an idea who’s behind this and he’ll make an accusation, although he might wind up accusing the wrong person.

Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) did call Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) to make an anonymous whistleblower report to the SEC, but did they really work that fast? Besides, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) already knew about the SEC agents and claimed she’d tried to make them wait-how, if she was in the wedding audience the whole time?

GH Spoilers: A Strong Defense

Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) is already with Carly as she’s being questioned by the SEC agents, presumably as she pushes files back to them. She tells whoever’s across the table that they’re going to have to do a hell of a lot better than that. It’s possibly Martin, but it could be the SEC agents or their representative as well. Carly has a lot of support and people working behind the scenes to get her out of this-Sonny for one.

General Hospital Spoilers: Sonny Corinthos Offers Assistance

Sonny was there when the SEC agents apparently hauled Carly away from Michael and Willow’s wedding. He’s already on the phone trying to call in a favor in Carly’s behalf, just as Ava Jerome (Maura West) warned Nina that he would. Diane and Sonny are probably trying to find out just who that anonymous whistleblower is who gave that tip to Martin.

Diane’s likely telling them that an anonymous tip won’t get them anywhere. Sonny’s likely trying to find someone to pay off.

GH Spoilers: Sneaky Maneuver

Nina’s not the only one pulling sneaky maneuvers as Brick shows up and tells Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) he’s got him now, calling him “kid”. Dex was supposed to handle the Pikeman deal even though Sonny and Michael were both at the wedding. Brick and Sonny likely have both suspected Dex was a plant and Michael was behind the sneaky maneuvering all along in spite of Dex saving Sonny’s life. Dex is going to have to be very discreet and try to convince Brick that he’s wrong, and that’s going to be very difficult to do if he’s got proof!
