Fall/Winter Preview Insights
Days of Our Lives released its fall/winter preview this past week, and to say it was explosive is an understatement! Not only did it provide some interesting teasers, but it also offered some crazy casting insights.
First off, the promo confirmed that General Hospital alum Sofia Mattsson (ex-Sasha Gilmore) will be the Chloe Lane recast. Chloe was played by Nadia Bjorlin on and off from 1999 to 2023.
It appears that Chloe and Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) could reunite, but as Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) and Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) are headed for a split, could Days be rehashing an old love triangle?
Days’ fall/winter preview also revealed that George DelHoyo will be reprising the villainous role of Orpheus.
Additional Casting News For The Week Of November 9
Fans can expect to see Leann Hunley and Thaao Penghlis return as Anna and Tony DiMera during the November 9 episode.
The two will be in Salem for Lexie Carver’s (Nikki Crawford) memorial and meet Tony’s long-lost brother, Dominic Marino (Kyle Pryor).
As previously reported, Tony and Anna’s return was part of the show’s anniversary casting news.
Amy Choi is back as Shi Ne Nielsen gets more airtime. Fans should brace for an awkward encounter between Amy and Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) during the Tuesday, November 10 show.
Plus, Stacy Haiduk will play both Kristen DiMera and Susan Banks during the week of November 9.
Meanwhile, Franco LoPresti will be seen this week as Dante Vitali. Viewers can expect Dante to confront Dominic during the Thursday, November 12 episode.
With Dominic causing trouble in Salem, his possible DiMera power grab could create even more family drama.
Lastly, the DiMera family’s trusted assistant, Rita Lesley, played by Maggie Carney, will be asked to pick sides on the Friday, November 13 show. Who will she choose?
Meanwhile, Anna and Tony’s November 9 discovery promises more surprises for the DiMera family.
