General Hospital Spoilers: Maurice Benard Reveals Sonny’s Next Move — It’s Fire!
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is in the fight of his life against Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota), a fellow dark side dweller who has managed to gain his PC piers.
At the same time, Sonny has found time to flirt with the ADA, Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor), and is sharing his home with an adorable rescue Pomeranian named Fizz. Things are as complicated as ever for the mob boss, but Benard has given fans a hint as to what the future holds for Sonny.

Sonny’s Future
Benard enjoys interacting with fans and he recently had an online exchange that revealed what could be in store for his character.
A GH fan recently reshared an adorable video of Sonny and Fizz on X. Fizz is the star (!) of the scene, as Sonny cradles the fuzzy beast and talks to him.
If fans thought it was an indication that Sonny is losing his hard edge, Benard set the record straight!
He wrote: “Sonny’s coming back with a vengeance … better watch out.”
Sonny isn’t Going Anywhere
Fans loved the heat that Benard brought with one posting “Oh, no doubt! Too much is at stake. The entire ‘Corinthos Clan’ better make that MOVE & take NO prisoners.”
The fan is referring to Sonny’s move against not just Jenz, but his collaborator, Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes).
Will Sonny Rain Fire Down on the Bad Guys?
Sonny has lost his number two man, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), due to Cullum. Jason admitted to shooting the WSB director in the back on the docks, despite that not being physically possible.
Cullum is now in ICU and Jason is in an undisclosed location!
Cullum is a Bad Man
Jason was basically rounded up and taken to a WSB facility and the talk is that he may never again be seen.
This alone leaves Sonny vulnerable, on top of the bad guys putting a target on his back. Sonny has his brother, Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst), as backup, but how deadly can a lawyer be?
