Celeb News: Michelle Obama Angers Democrats With Her Latest Statement
According to the latest reports, Michelle Obama has finally broken her silence on whether or not she will run for president in 2024 as a lot of Democrats were hoping that she would replace President Joe Biden because of his declining cognitive health. And while there were a lot of people hoping that Michelle would become her party’s frontrunner, sadly, that’s not going to happen. She confirmed that she won’t be running for the office of President of the United States.
In a statement that was released from her office to the press, it said, “As former First Lady Michelle Obama has expressed several times over the years, she will not be running for president. Mrs. Obama supports President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris’ re-election campaign.”

Additionally, a statement from President Joe Biden’s office said, “President and Michelle Obama were enormously helpful in the fight to beat Donald Trump and elect President Biden and Vice President Harris the first time and we are grateful to have their voice and their support in the fight for the fate of our democracy this November.”
So with Michelle Obama out of the running, some critics believe that the only two other options to replace Joe Biden would be California Governor Gavin Newsom or the current Vice President, Kamala Harris. Neither have made any comments about what they plan on doing in the future.
So far Michelle Obama herself has not made any additional comments about the matter but it’s pretty clear that she would rather live a quiet, normal life outside of the political spotlight. We will definitely update you with all of the latest details as they come in.
