General Hospital Spoilers: Ava’s Furious When Laura Wants Her To Drop Esme’s Charges
General Hospital spoilers and updates tease in this week’s Sneak Peek, Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) furious when Laura Collins (Genie Francis) wants her to drop Esme Prince’s (Avery Kristen Pohl) charges.
Laura was very upset when at the PCPD Ava pressed charges for Esme’s breaking into Wyndemere, even though they wouldn’t bring the stiffest penalty possible, she’d even asked why!
General Hospital Spoilers: A Big Ask-Or Is It?
Laura is in front of the courtroom doors in the Port Charles courthouse as Esme’s hearing is about to convene, and spots Ava there with her phone.
Laura tells Ava she was hoping to run into her, and asks her if they could talk for a minute, and Ava says yes-and asks what she can do for her.
Ava isn’t prepared for Laura’s answer-and doesn’t exactly react with any positivity or even kindness, as Laura tells her to drop the charges against Esme!
Laura doesn’t seem to think to ask Ava to drop Esme’s charges are such a big ask-but Ava reacts very negatively to the request. Ava bristles with fury and anger, obviously thinking the request is preposterous as she asks Laura, “Why would I do that”?
GH Spoilers: Laura Collins Is Annoyed And Ava Jerome Furious
Laura takes a deep breath, and she’s obviously annoyed as she pleads Esme’s case to a furious Ava, who says she’s sorry but she has no intention of dropping the charges.
Ava then explains herself further, increasingly angry, saying Esme deserves this, in fact, she deserves far worse after everything she did to hurt Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali).
At that point, an exasperated Laura interrupts, pointing and shaking her finger, and says that is a separate issue, saying to let Esme answer to those crimes when the time comes.
General Hospital Spoilers: A Frightened And Worried Defendant
Ava then gets a call and tells Laura she’s sorry, but she has to take that and walks off, and Laura heads into the courtroom where an anxiety-stricken Esme is waiting.
Laura is obviously worried, and walks over to Esme at the defendant’s counsel table, her lawyer not having arrived yet and asks how she’s holding up.
Previously, at the PCPD Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) had promised Esme he’d come to court and bring Ace Prince-Cassadine (Joey and Jay Clay) with him.
Spencer hasn’t shown up in the courtroom with Ace, and Esme tells Laura that he’d promised to do so, and starts to panic. Esme would feel better if Spencer was there with Ace, and starts asking Laura where they are-Laura looks worried.
