Days of Our Lives comings and goings suggest Steve Burton might have one foot out the door in Salem. There’s some speculation on social media that the actor, who is best known for his role as Harris Michaels on the hit Peacock soap, might be leaving the show. Days of Our Lives Comings And Goings: Steve Burton Going Back To General Hospital?
Soon after Steve was let go from General Hospital in late 2021, it didn’t take very long for him to find a new home in Salem on Days of Our Lives. The actor reprised his role as Harris Michaels, which was one of the very first roles that he had in daytime television. He then went on to star on General Hospital before moving on to The Young and the Restless and then going back to Port Charles.
Well, now it seems like Steve Burton is ready to make a move again. There’s some strong speculation that his stint on DOOL will end right after his current storyline with Tamara Braun, who plays Ava Vitali on the show, will come to a close.
Days of Our Lives Comings And Goings: What’s Next For Steve Burton?
As far as what move Steve will make next, no one really knows, but if he goes back to General Hospital, there’s no doubt that fans would love to see him back there. While everyone assumes that his character Jason Morgan had died, there’s no concrete evidence that it happened, seeing how his body was never found in the rubble after a tunnel collapsed on him while he was trying to save his brother, Drew Crain.
So far Steve himself has made no comments about the matter, but we have a feeling that an announcement is going to be made real soon.
