General Hospital spoilers and updates tease Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) loved ones will rally around him-is he going down for good?
These are very serious federal charges that Sonny is facing, so serious even Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) doubts she can get them dropped.
General Hospital Spoilers: Courtroom Drama
Sonny was held for seventy-two hours until his arraignment, and his loved ones rally around him in the courtroom.
If Sonny is found guilty, he may never be released, and he may even be sentenced to death for treason since he’s charged with violating the National Security Act.
That’s a very tough pill to swallow for Sonny’s loved ones and they all are worried and on edge as they wait to see the judge’s pronouncement.
Any support Sonny’s family and friends can give will have to be in the courtroom, even though hugs and such may be forbidden.
Chances are he’ll be brought in shackles to the defense table and only Diane will be able to be close to him, at the table.
GH Spoilers: No Visitation In Federal Prison
Sonny may be immediately taken back to Federal Prison to await trial, and it’s not like the Port Charles jail at the PCPD or even like Pentonville.
He’d be taken to the nearest Federal Prison, which could be out of state but possibly in Albany, the state capitol of New York.
He likely will not be able to receive visitors since he’s on the level of public enemy number one against the United States, not just a part of it.
All his loved ones can do is hope and pray that the evidence against him is a frame-up and bogus, although they all fear that it is not.
Diane just hopes that she is allowed to look at the evidence that they have, which should be her right to discovery-but Federal court may be different.
General Hospital Spoilers: Brick Is Working On Finding The Snitch
Diane, Sonny, and his loved ones familiar with how mob life works, have suspected that the raids happened because of a snitch, an inside job.
How else and who would have known Sonny would be having dinner with Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) at the Metro Court, at the same time as the shipment at the docks?
Brick (Stephen A. Smith) is working hard to find the snitch, if indeed there is one and keeping Sonny’s loved ones safe.
In the meantime, Dex Heller, (Evan Hofer) Carly Spencer, (Laura Wright) Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) worry.
Could someone have indeed been tailing Dex and found the video he took and Carly destroyed?
