General Hospital Spoilers: Anna’s Gamble To Flush Out The Sniper-Will Dante And Sonny Agree?
General Hospital spoilers and updates tease in this week’s Sneak Peek Update that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) comes up with a risky gamble to flush out the Metro Court pool sniper. But will Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) agree?
General Hospital Spoilers: A Discussion Continued
Sonny, Anna and Dante continue to brainstorm who the sniper might be and how to find him after Dante nearly arrested Sonny’s man Mickey Vasquez (Johnny Santiago). After Sonny arrived, the mystery was solved when he told Dante and Anna he had Mickey watching out for Anna-Dante did recognize him, and Anna said she didn’t want extra security. The original theory had been that the sniper could have targeted either Sonny or Anna, based on the bullets’ trajectories-Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) hit by a ricochet.
Anna then comes up with what she thinks is a good idea to flush out the shooter. If you’re going to set a trap, there needs to be bait-and the new theory is the target was Anna, although Dante isn’t completely ruling out Sonny.
GH Spoilers: Anna Devane Offers Herself As Bait
Anna tells Sonny and Dante she thinks the best way to find out who shot the bullet that hit Curtis is to offer herself up as bait. Dante says yeah, except for the part where she’s putting herself in danger-Anna reminds him that’s not exactly new territory for her; Sonny says this is different.
Whoever shot Curtis used a rifle stolen from the WSB arsenal, which may tie into Anna being the target; Anna says yeah, she knows, but something’s off about that. Anna says it doesn’t make sense that the WSB would want her dead, and Sonny asks if it’s possible somebody within the organization went rogue? Anna says maybe; and adds that she’ll have to set a good trap for them.

Dante doesn’t think it’s such a good idea and asks Anna, “you’re really going to do this?” not quite believing his ears. Anna says yes, she’s not going to live under a constant threat and Dante gets that, but says there’s other ways of handling this. Dante tells her that her plan of offering herself up as bait to flush out the shooter is a little dangerous and a little reckless.
Sonny surprises both Dante and Anna when he likes the plan, since Sonny was all about setting up a protection detail for her. Ultimately, Dante will agree to Anna’s offering herself up as bait to flush out the shooter, but only if she allows him to shadow her.
