The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Did The Writers Make A Technical Mistake With Sally’s Baby Tragedy?
The Young and the Restless spoilers say that a lot of fans can’t help but wonder if the writers of the show made yet another technical mistake with Sally Spectra’s baby tragedy story. Because soon after Sally woke up at the hospital, she blamed Adam Newman for not saving their baby. But did Adam really have the power to save their child? Here’s what you need to know.
While there’s no doubt that Sally’s situation with Adam and Nick Newman is a complicated one, it’s safe to assume that Adam would have been her next of kin, seeing how he was the father of their child. But if Sally’s life was in danger over her pregnancy, did he really have a say as to what went on in her hospital room? That’s very unlikely. Yet, fans can’t wonder why Sally would even accuse him of not saving their baby when he didn’t have a say in it at all.
Of course, many The Young and the Restless fans have a lot to say about the matter on social media. Some have commented with, “Wouldn’t the doctors ask for Sally’s next of kin to make the decision of whether to save her or the baby? Adam and Sally are not married, so how could that be Adam’s decision? I don’t get that. I really don’t like the direction of this story,” along with, “I wish soaps would opt for different directions in stories like this one. If Sally wants to blame anyone for her condition and then loss of her child, to me it’s Nick. Beyond that, wish Sally immediately turned to Adam and said I’m sorry. We both lost a child and you had to make the ultimate decision.”
Another critic wrote, “I hate this storyline development. In the real world it’s doctors that make these kinds of decisions and they choose based on who would have a more viable chance of surviving the birth.”
Needless to say, The Young and the Restless fans will have to tune in to find out what will happen next! No sally losing her child would not be nicks or Adam’s fault or decision to make, sally should have picked her family to decide or she could have. Stop playing the blame game. Sally was wrong for blaming Adam.
