The Young and the Restless Spoilers UPDATE Friday, June 2: Kyle Busts Summer With Phyllis, Cameron Confronts Sharon Alone

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, June 2, reveal that ease that Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) finally makes contact with his convict mom Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) after responding to her anonymous text.

The Young and the Restless spoilers: Red no Longer Dead

Daniel goes to the GCAC and his first reaction is relief. They hug and he makes it clear that he is happy she is alive and well. It’s an emotional reunion as she tries her best to apologize for everything, which is a lot.

But Daniel eventually gets to the place where he lectures her about staying hidden since he has a conscience and she does not.

Daniel tells Phyllis that Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) will stop at nothing to bring her to justice but Red argues that that is the very reason that she must remain hidden and a fugitive from justice. Did we forget to say that his sister Summer Newman-Abbott (Allison Lanier) is also in the room?

She is on Phyllis’ side and supports Red’s plan to stay a gone girl so that they can show that Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) was the real villain in Red’s bad behavior. For the time being Summer and Daniel continue to be on the outs.

That’s not her biggest problem though. Sloppy Summer is followed by her curious husband Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and finds his wife basically doing what she can to keep his own mom from getting justice. Not a good look.

Elsewhere Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) comes face to face with her evil tormentor Cameron Kirsten (Linden Ashby). The convict has been released from prison and he has the audacity to confront her after all this time.
Both Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) know that Cameron is out and harassing Sharon but they won’t be there when this encounter goes down.
