General Hospital spoilers and updates for Wednesday, March 23 tease shaky theories, second chances and scary situations. Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) shares a shaky theory, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) wants a second chance, and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) has a scary situation.
General Hospital Spoilers: Unexpected Run-In
At Kelly’s, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) has an unexpected run-in with her mom, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr). Portia hopes to make peace with her daughter, and says she hopes the same can be true with her. Portia is obviously referring to some situation where she had a meeting of the mind with someone.
Trina will also have an awkward run-in with Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) as well, so her day will be full of awkward run-ins and unexpected encounters. It could be more awkward if she runs into both of them at the same time and they’ve made up with each other, but she hasn’t made up with them!
GH Spoilers: Elizabeth Baldwin’s On Pins And Needles
Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) on pins and needles as she tells her best friend from childhood and boss Dr. Terry Randolph (Cassandra James) her fears. Elizabeth is there for a review by the board of General Hospital after confessing to a crime, although she’s immune from prosecution. Helping Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) with providing prenatal nursing care for Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) while she was held hostage makes Elizabeth an accessory to kidnapping. Elizabeth is very afraid, as she vents to Terry that she doesn’t see how she has a chance.
General Hospital Spoilers: Shaky Theories
Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) seems a little shaken as she updates good friend Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) on the latest about Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison). She may or may not be aware that Greg may have a serious illness, not a fall off the wagon, as she presupposed when he nearly collapsed in front of her. Alexis may be sharing her shaky theory about Gregory having a drinking problem with Diane as she tells her “that” may be the reason he’s not working at Port Charles University.
Gregory didn’t want to have any more to do with her after she wanted to call him a cab and get him into an alcoholics anonymous group. But soon she might find out it’s even worse than she suspects.
GH Spoilers: Father-Son Checkup
Greg may not have brought Chase into the loop yet about what obviously is a serious medical condition but he’s talking to Dr. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) at GH. The last time he tried to get a checkup he bolted from TJ Ashford’s (Tajh Bellow) examining room when he saw his sons in the hospital. Now he’s opened up to Finn, who tested him for a case of Lyme Disease several years ago and Finn tells him it’s too early to determine results.
Unless the Lyme Disease is affecting Greg’s brain, which is very rare unless there’s a parasite in his brain, it’s something else very serious. Finn is the right one to get to the bottom of it.
General Hospital Spoilers: Second Chances
Back at the Quartermaine mansion, Chase wants a second chance with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) after both of them were advised by Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen). Willow better than anyone knows that if you get a second chance to make up for a mistake, you’d better take it because you never know what your future holds. Chase talks to a tearful Brook Lynn and tells her he’s willing to try – is she?
Life is too short to let things go unresolved, and the couple seems to be working things out. That will be a much better song than the lovesick blues Brook Lynn was going to write!
GH Spoilers: Esmé Prince Weighs Her Options
At Spring Ridge, Esmé weighs her options as Laura Collins (Genie Francis) tells her she has wonderful news. Esmé is holding Ace Prince-Cassadine (Joey and Jay Clay) in her arms as she looks wary of Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) who’s also there. It sounds like Trina and Diane were successful in getting District Attorney Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) to drop Esmé’s charges so Ace doesn’t have to be in prison with his mom. It’s a big decision for Esmé, because even if the offer to stay with the Collins is still open, there’s still distrust of Cassadines. It’s hard for her to get past Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) being Ryan Chamberlain’s (Jon Lindstrom) twin too, even if he is her uncle-getting to know him might be a start.
General Hospital Spoilers: Scary Situations
At Charlie’s Pub, Nina is having a scary situation as she sees the face of Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) staring down at her. She’ll have a lot of questions for Jordan, even though the first panicked one is if something happened to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard)! Jordan may not even be there about Sonny, she might just be there asking if she knows anything about Nikolas, since she’s so close with Ava Jerome (Maura West).
Nina’s dealing with a lot of uncertainty with Willow making it to the bone marrow transplant and Sonny being a mob target. She’s never had to deal with the danger in his life before.
