British Royal News: Prince William And Kate Middleton’s Decision To Move To Windsor Caused A Huge Problem

British Royal News says that even though they did what they thought was best for their family, it wasn’t without controversy. There’s a new report that says Prince William and Kate Middleton’s move to Windsor with their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, sparked an uproar and for this reason, too. Here’s what you need to know.

British Royal News: Prince William And Kate Middleton’s Decision To Move To Windsor Caused A Huge Problem

Apparently, there are some people out there who are none too pleased with the fact that the newly minted Prince and Princess of Wales simply want to give their children a very normal upbringing, despite their royal titles. William and Kate decided last summer that they wanted to move to Windsor in order to be closer to Queen Elizabeth, who died on September 8th, and also so they could have more privacy from the prying eyes of the paparazzi.

Well, podcast hosts Roberta Fiorito and Rachel Bowie of ‘Royally Obsessed’ believe that this caused nothing but a huge problem, mostly because William and Kate had previously spent millions to renovate their home at Kensington Palace. T

They put it this way, “There is a lot of uproar because Robert Jobson said that the Waleses had £12 million worth of renovations done to Kensington Palace 1A. To make it family-oriented and liveable for them and their kids. The promise was that they’d be there for the long haul.”

Not only that, but royal columnist Richard Kay also said that William and Kate’s move right now, especially when prices are on the rise as inflation has peaked at sky high records, makes them come off as insensitive. He said, “The less charitable response [to the move], however, is that at a time of an exploding cost-of-living crisis affecting working families up and down the country, securing the use of an additional property looks clumsily insensitive.”

Kay also believes that William and Kate adding Adelaide Cottage to their real estate portfolio really isn’t necessary. Right now they have four homes at their disposal. He said, “ So do William and Kate really need this third property? And if so could they not have put one of the remaining houses in mothballs or even – daringly – announced that they would stop using one of them altogether?”
