The Young and the Restless Comings And Goings: Fans React To James Hyde Joining The Soap!

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that there’s sexy and then there’s sexy! Passions alum James Hyde has just joined the cast of the hit CBS soap and of course, fans sure do have a lot to say about it! Here’s what you need to know.

The Young and the Restless Comings And Goings: Fans React To James Hyde Joining The Soap!

According to reports, James will be playing a character by the name of James Stark. He has a connection to Diane Jenkins and knows a little something something about how and why she faked her own death. James is expected to make his debut in Genoa City by October 21.

Of course, it didn’t take very long for The Young and the Restless fans to take to social media to write comments such as, “Let’s hope this new character won’t serve the revelation that will drive Diane out of town… I want her to stay. I don’t know what she could have done that would be so terrible compared to all of Phyllis, Victor or Nikki’s various crimes, but we’re all aware of the show’s double standards when it comes to characters crossing the moral event horizon,” along with, “The actor is super sexy! Just hope he is a long term character and not like Chelsea’s late husbands lawyer Gordon Thompson played for 3 episodes. I would love to see that he is the Bentley owner and that he is Diane’s husband. That he knows she came to GC to reconnect with son and isn’t bothered by her infatuation with Jack. Lets see, also, that the financing Victor secured is either by this new character or Tucker or both men working together which puts Newman in jeopardy!”

The Young and the Restless What’s Next For James?

Another fan wrote, “Its gonna be interesting when the truth comes out about Diane and then it will be over for her. Kyle should know the truth. Welcome to Y&R James Hyde. Diane might be down but not out she can stay and raise hell. I love her presence Phyllis and Nikki are so obsessed with her it’s sad. Biggest hypocrites in town.”

And then there was this comment: “This news won’t compel me to watch, but damn is James Hyde still fine af. Every time I see James Hyde I have this image of him from his late-80s, go-go dancing, backup-singing days for Pete Burns in Dead or Alive .. lol.”
