She thinks that Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) has her best interests at heart without realizing that Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) has penetrated her soul.
Sheila was certain that Taylor impacted Deacon’s decision to recommit to her. She was right, but was looking at the scenario from the wrong angle.
Brown’s character believed she confirmed her belief when Taylor admitted to having told Deacon to show Sheila how he felt.
Of course, Budig’s embattled character didn’t reveal that she tried to push Deacon off as a means of protecting herself and her family.
Deacon Sharpe Isn’t In Love With His Wife
Deacon began openly expressing his interest in Taylor months ago. She was flattered and also vulnerable.
The above would have never been pursued if Taylor remarried Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye).
But the engagement she pushed fell apart, with her desperation to put a ring on her finger combining with his again renewed expression of love for Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang).
So, Taylor was open to Deacon’s flattery and then did something unexpected.
She reciprocated his feelings. As viewers have seen, Taylor has gone beyond the Ridge rebound and returned Deacon’s statement of love. That seemed to surprise her as much as it likely did the audience.
Sheila Carter Sharpe More Deeply In Love
The conversations Sheila has had with Deacon’s children are particularly painful to watch. Brown projects the poor soul character with tremendous dexterity. It’s quite the watch based on her many years of being a hardcore villain.
Deacon’s love changed Sheila for the better. Taylor is so conflicted because she sees Sheila’s personal growth while knowing it will be destroyed if she and Deacon become a full-blown couple.
Taylor kissing Deacon, shortly after Sheila confided in her, reinforced the seeming inevitability of this storyline’s trajectory.
Sheila appears destined to learn about Deacon’s betrayal, with the fallout being the next flashpoint. That comes after her asking Taylor to remain involved with her marriage. Ah, if Sheila only knew, and she soon will.
Dylan and Will Spencer Have Fallen For Each Other
Dylan (Sydney Bullock) was living in Los Angeles, California, away from her family. Viewers didn’t know that when they first met this then-side character last summer.
Digitally skipping today, Dylan has fallen for Will Spencer (Crew Morrow). That makes sense because, as she’s told him on many occasions, he’s looking out for her. But Electra Forrester (Laneya Grace) did that first.
There’s no doubt that Dylan responded to Electra by figuratively slapping her in the face. The level of her ingratitude and opportunism is very soapy and has made for a compelling plot.
Will was initially attracted to Dylan, and now he’s allowed the next level to happen. The kiss they shared came after his separation from Electra.
The above will almost certainly be followed by a full break. Grace’s character will turn to RJ Forrester (Brayan Nicoletti), who, like Dylan, has made himself available and hasn’t been shy about telling Electra exactly what he thinks of her.
