Matt’s presence in the land of the free is scary. He’s a stone-cold killer, purveyor of illicit substances, some of which Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) unfortunately is using, and is more bent on revenge than ever.
Viewers highly suspected that Braun’s character wasn’t going to remain separated from Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) for long. Sure enough, her return to Genoa City, Wisconsin, jibes with the renewed Matt threat.
Noah Newman Is In Love
Noah didn’t even consider letting Sienna leave his life. He just fell in love with her during the past year and knows that his feelings are reciprocated.
Sienna left town for two reasons. Within the soapy world, she felt that her place wasn’t in GC, and Noah would be better off without her.
Viewers know that the second reason involves a storyline pause. Howarth’s character became one of the bigger surprise returns in recent memory. This veteran daytime actor killed in the role, brought the heat, and the writing staff has purely been allowing Matt to cool before the next round of this tale unfolds.
Sienna Bacall’s Insider Knowledge Is Needed
If the Newmans are going to defend themselves and hopefully realize justice, they need Sienna in town. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) softened his stance considerably after she informed him that Nick was in trouble.
That was during the period in the storyline when Nick was holding Matt hostage in the trunk of his car and planned to kill him. Sienna’s visit to the Ranch House led to Victor taking control of the situation and turning Matt over to the authorities.
Sienna proved her trustworthiness, loyalty, and concern for Noah and the Newman family at that point in the plot, and Victor appreciated it. He stopped lobbying for her to leave town. Her decision to go back to LA was purely personal.
Clearly, Noah is better off with the woman he loves by his side. And the Newman family will benefit from whatever bits of insider knowledge Sienna can provide during the next approaching confrontation with Matt.
Nick Newman Is Hooked On Drugs?
The subject header begs an easy question because it sure seems like he is hooked on the bag of pills that Matt tried to force Noah to ingest. Nick probably found more pills on Matt when he was holding him hostage and is using them.
That scenario is a stretch, but also plausible because of the broken femur bone Nick suffered in the car crash Matt caused. Writing Morrow’s character out of the hospital was a hard wink that trouble was brewing, with his emotions now boiling over.
Thankfully, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), Noah, and others are noticing Nick’s personality change. However, if they aren’t able to help him break this new habit, then Nick is trending toward a renewed battle with Matt while not on his game. That projected drama is almost certainly dead ahead.
