General Hospital spoilers say that Esme’s pregnancy is sure going to stir a lot of drama in this fictional town of Port Charles in the coming weeks. Keep reading below for all of the spoilers you need to know.
General Hospital Spoilers: What’s Really Going On With Esme’s Pregnancy?
According to the latest General Hospital episode, Nikolas says that he doesn’t believe that Esme is indeed pregnant until she pulls her top up to show him that yes, she’s carrying a baby. Esme also told Nikolas that she wants him to help her find an attorney to get out of her current charges. Nikolas also adds that at the time being, Ava doesn’t need to know about the pregnancy, although she will find out soon enough.
Needless to say, many General Hospital fans sure had a lot to say about this storyline. Some comments have included, “The Nikolas/Esme scenes continue to be DOA for me; it’s literally a near rewrite of the Michael/Nelle story (which was also not good). Between Coloma’s one facial expression and Pohl’s three acting choices (the eternal smirk, angered dismay or offended-on-the-verge-of-tears), their scenes are a never ending circle of nothing. And I’m not really sure how Nikolas thinks he can hide Esme’s pregnancy for very long (though him using his one whole brain cell to lock Esme’s treacherous ass up was a nice surprise; we’ll see how long that lasts),” along with, “I don’t understand why Esme is threatening to tell Ava about her pregnancy. Won’t Ava find out anyway as soon as Nick hires the super lawyer? As terrible as Esme is (I love her) I found it disturbing when he locked her in a room. As soon as Ava sees a pregnant Esme, she’ll put 2 and 2 together and get Nik so it made no sense to me that they thought they could keep it a secret.”

Another fan said, “Why keep it a secret? Nikolas isn’t going to claim his kid? Of course he is, whoever the mother is. I would hope anyway. And you know Victor is going to want to raise that kid as a full Cassadine with all the power that comes with it so he’d probably marry Esme and claim the child as his own at this point.”
And then there was this comment, “I know they hopped into the sheets but, Jesus, isn’t there protection in your nightstand, man?! She was BARELY legal when you did the deed and it’s still gross to me that Nicholas would. Now to find out she’s pregnant and instead of just saying “bitch you’re a pyscho” and hauling her ass off to the cops is beyond me! Without proof she fell over the balcony, since only Ava and Nicholas know, he could say she is lying because she wanted a GET OUT OF JAIL CARD by blackmailing him.”
