Prince Harry’s Friends Thought He Was ‘Nuts’ For Dating Meghan Markle, Book Claims
It’s hard to recognize that it’s been nearly a decade since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tied the knot in St. George’s Chapel. I mean, with all the chaos constantly surrounding the couple, it feels as if time’s not flying at all.
Now according to a new royal book, we’re learning that the drama started during the dating stage, with Harry’s friends disapproving of Meghan Markle.
Prince Harry’s Pals Called Him “Nuts” For Dating Meghan Markle
Story on the block is that Prince Harry lost a number of his old friends after meeting and marrying Meghan. Previously, there was a report that claimed Harry’s friends were constantly turned off by Meghan’s high moral ground, since she would essentially turn every joke into an argument.
But, if we dialed back a little, we would discover that Harry’s friends clocked on this Meghan attribute faster than Harry could.
When they realized that Meghan had no sense of humor, Harry’s pals were surprised. They didn’t know why “fun” Harry would be going out with someone who lacks a funny bone, and they labeled him “f**king nuts” for it. In their defense, I have to say that opposites attract, don’t they?
In his book ‘Revenge: Meghan, Harry, and the War between the Windsors,’ Bower reported on this, writing, “According to some of Harry’s friends, again and again she reprimanded them about the slightest inappropriate nuance. Nobody was exempt.”
Well, when Meghan refused to get off her high horse, most of Harry’s old friends decided to ditch him. I hear he’s back in Britain trying to win them back. Is Meghan going to be staying home this time, or did the high horse die? Genuinely just curious.
According to royal expert Charlotte Griffiths, Harry is hanging on to the past so tightly, he’s missing his chances to move on. “And now he’s come back to have another fresh start, and he’s still dwelling in the past. So he’s missed out on two fresh starts,” Griffiths noted on The Royalist Podcast.
