That’s because according to the Daily Beast, the First Lady has only put in 38 engagements this past year.
And for those who have been paying attention, that’s rather low, seeing former first Ladies Dr. Jill Biden and even Michelle Obama were not shy when it came to their duties and were seen much more often in public than Melania this year.
Then again, it’s not like Melania is going to put much of an effort to step it up with her workload or prove her critics wrong. Because if there’s anything that we’ve learned about the First Lady over the years, it’s that’s not how she operates.
Melania Trump is going to do what she wants to do, regardless of what anyone has to say about it.
And as much as Melania did want to leave a great legacy behind, it doesn’t look like that’s going to happen either. Her husband Donald Trump’s term in office is half way done and it looks like the public has already made up their mind about his wife.

Melania Trump just isn’t the kind of person that wants to make a difference for the country, or even for the world for that matter. She hasn’t put in the effort and at this point, it doesn’t look like she’s going to, either.
