General Hospital Speculation: Who’s The Next Kristina Corinthos-Davis Recast
General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Kate Mansi is officially out as Kristina Corinthos-Davis. As per a report, the actress opted against renewing her contract with the ABC soap.
While the show’s Executive Producer, Frank Valentini, noted that GH supported Mansi’s decision to leave the show and has said a door is wide open to a return, fans and soap journalists can’t help but feel as if the character will eventually be recast … again!

General Hospital spoilers remind fans that when Chad Duell left the role of Michael Corinthos in January 2025, Valentini made the same comment, only for the character to be recast some months later when Rory Gibson stepped into the part.
Will the same thing happen with Kristina? Mansi has wrapped up filming on the soap as of April, which means Kristina has a few more weeks left in storylines.
Kristina is slated to get some major news during the Tuesday, May 26 episode, so is this the beginning of Mansi’s exit storyline?
Oh, The Possibilities!
Of course, many fans would love to see Lexie Ainsworth, the actress who Mansi replaced, return to GH as Kristina.
Ainsworth was in the role from 2009 to 2023, just before Mansi stepped into the part. In fact, a lot of viewers were sour when Ainsworth was replaced, and they felt – and still feel like – the actress made Kristina who she is today.
With that said, @SourceRyan, on the social media platform X, Editor of TV Source, came up with some interesting Kristina recasts.
He noted that former Days of Our Lives’ Camila Banus (ex-Gabi Hernandez) or The Young and the Restless alum Allison Lanier (ex-Summer Newman) might be some alternative candidates.
Both women could bring a very different spin on the Kristina character, so fans will have to tune in to see if GH decides to go a different route with this pivotal role.
