General Hospital Spoilers: Laura Leaves Port Charles When Leslie’s Shocking Death Revealed
General Hospital spoilers indicate that Genie Francis, who plays Laura Collins, will soon take her annual break from the show, and that Laura will be taking another sabbatical from Port Charles.
This could be facilitated by the real-life death of Denise Alexander, who played Laura’s mother, Leslie Webber. Laura could be leaving to deal with the death of her mother.
Leslie Webber Dies In Italy With Marcello By Her Side
Last we heard, Leslie was in Italy with her new boyfriend, Marcello and was living a happy life. Leslie may have been ill, and not told Laura, or she may suddenly die in her sleep.
Marcello would call Laura and inform her that Leslie has passed away, which would shock her. Laura would be devastated by the death of her mother, and seek comfort from her loved ones.
Laura Collins Leaves Port Charles For Italy To Deal With Leslie Webber’s Death
Laura decides that she must leave Port Charles right away in order to deal with Leslie’s death. She wants to help Marcello make the arrangements.
She would call her husband, Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom), who is out of town, and he tells her that he will meet her in Italy. Laura, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) could head out of Port Charles, and Lucky Spencer (last played by Jonathan Jackson) could plan on meeting them there for the memorial service.
Leslie Webber Is Laid To Rest In Italy With A Lovely Memorial Service
Laura plans the memorial service with Marcello, and Lulu is there to help and comfort her. A beautiful memorial in Italy would, with Laura, Lulu, and an arriving Liz from Port Charles present.
Lucky and Aiden Webber (Colin Cassidy) become detained on their trip, and are unable to attend. Kevin finally arrives before the service begins and greets his wife.
Laura delivers a very touching eulogy for her mother, and we are treated to a wonderful montage of flashbacks for Leslie. Marcello thanks Laura for the lovely tribute to her mother.
Laura Collins Decides To Stay In Italy
After the memorial service, Laura decides that she needs a break from Port Charles. She and Kevin would agree that they want to spend some time in Italy, and Laura would want to in order to properly grieve her mother. She would want to spend time in a place where she was so happy, and she could hear stories from Marcello, and get to know him better.
Laura and Kevin say good-bye to Lulu and Liz, who return to Port Charles.
