The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Did Ingo Rademacher Lose Out On A Chance To Return As Thorne Forrester?
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers say there’s a chance that Ingo Rademacher might have lost out on a chance to come back to the soap world as one of his old characters. As many fans probably recall, Ingo played Thorne Forrester on The Bold and the Beautiful before making his way back to General Hospital. But unfortunately for the actor, he was let go from Port Charles after he refused to comply with the ABC network’s vaccine mandate. And now that actor Winsor Harmon is coming back to B&B as Thorne again, a lot of people can’t help but wonder if Ingo might have missed out on a chance to come back to work. Here’s what you need to know.
The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Did Ingo Rademacher Lose Out On A Chance To Return As Thorne Forrester?
Many The Bold and the Beautiful fans were shocked when they found out that Winsor was let go from the soap back in 2017. Ingo ended up taking his place as Thorne Forrester. Ingo told TV Insider at the time, “My managers called me up and said B&B was interested in my doing this 11-episode character, and I said, ‘Sweet. Let’s do it.’ But then, as I understand it, [executive producer] Brad Bell had a change of heart and wanted to give me a full-time, contract role.”
And now that Thorne is back on the canvas, it’s Winsor who has taken over the role again and not Ingo. He told Soaps.com, “I have such fond memories of my time on the show so being back with your longtime friends and meeting new people was pretty fantastic.”
It’s been noted that while Thorne was the third actor of four actors who have appeared on the soap as Thorne, he is also the most popular actor to play the character to date. Could that be the reason why Ingo wasn’t asked back? So far the actor has not made any comments about the matter.

Ingo, never really fit that part. I was happy to see Winsor Harmon back, as he really suited that part.
I also support Harmony’s return as Thorne. It’s nice to see the institutional characters back in the mix, rather than a surge of new characters we have no history with. Lots of possibilities with Thorne’s character, whether on the Forrester business side or competing for Brooke, Donna or Katie. Good move, Bill Bell!
