General Hospital Spoilers: Is Anna Playing Both Sides-Secret Strategy To Have Sonny’s Charges Thrown Out Of Court?
General Hospital spoilers and rumors pose the question, is Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) playing both sides? Does she have a secret strategy to have Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) charges thrown out of court?
General Hospital Spoilers: Wanting Molly Lansing-Davis To Prosecute Her Uncle?
Even Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) herself raised questions of a conflict of interest when Anna wanted her to prosecute Sonny instead of Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers). Molly is Sonny’s niece and Kristina Corinthos-Davis, (Kate Mansi) is Molly’s sister.
Molly’s a half-niece to Sonny and a half-sister to Kristina but that doesn’t make any difference to her, she had some serious questions for Anna.
Anna claimed that Robert with his hatred for Sonny wouldn’t be able to guarantee him a fair trial-Molly questioned how was she any different, and threatened to recuse herself. Anna strongly suggested that she didn’t, and prepare a case to prosecute Sonny for his beat down of Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).
GH Spoilers: Anna Has Acted As A Double Agent In The Past
The whole reason Anna retired from the WSB is because someone threatened to expose things she did in the past as a double agent for the WSB and the DVX.
Not only are they rival agencies, but the DVX was mostly corrupt-Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) was a DVX agent for most of the twenty-five years he was presumed dead.
Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) was also in the DVX as was Anna’s twin, Alexandra Marick (Finola Hughes), but there were reasons she acted as a double agent.
It was to get information, but which side was she on-getting information for the WSB about the DVX or vice-versa? And was it really any more corrupt than the WSB was under Victor Cassadine’s (Charles Shaughnessy) leadership-most likely not!
General Hospital Spoilers: A Method To Madness, A Plot To Persuasion
It seems that Anna again may be playing both sides, and there’s a method to her madness and a plot to her persuasion of Molly prosecuting Sonny’s case. Anna did think of Sonny as a friend for many years, and now she’s saying she’s enlightened about what he really is, but is she, really?
Robert may well swoop in and remove Molly from this case if he gets wind of it quickly enough-but if he doesn’t the case could be thrown out of court.
Might that actually be Anna’s intention, to have Sonny prosecuted, but then have the charges dropped and the case thrown out of court? As bizarre as Sonny is acting, she may have a different plan-a plan to force him getting help, as in a psychiatric facility!
