General Hospital spoilers leak Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) hasn’t been feeling too good about the prospect of seeing her ex-husband again. Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) return has stirred up emotions in Sam that she was fine to put to bed with Jason “died.”
When she learned it may have been Jason who put Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) in that hospital bed — practically lifeless and in a coma — she could only see red. But when she laid her eyes on Jason’s face, she knew it couldn’t be true, and believed him when he said he didn’t shoot Dante.
At that moment, Sam probably thought she was going to be able to leave the PCPD on good terms with her ex-husband — but then he told her about his interaction with their son, and things went left. If anyone thought Sam was furious with Jason before, they’ve got another thing coming.

When Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) first saw Sam after Jason’s return, Sam’s reception was a far cry from what Carly expected from her friend — Jason’s ex-wife and the mother of his child.
Try as she may, Carly couldn’t wrap her head around the anger and resentment Sam was feeling toward Jason. But she understood that grief can have a strange effect on people, and Sam wasn’t exempt from that rule.
Hoping that her visit with Jason may have calmed her down, Carly’s next attempt to reach out will floor her when it’s met with even more hostility. Will Carly end up as confused as Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) is about her rage against Jason?
GH Spoilers Assert Danny Will Push Back
The confusion and concern Danny was feeling was written all over his face when Sam hugged him and said he never had to see his father again.
Little does he know, what his mother really meant was she intended for him to never see him again and would even go to the lengths of forbidding it.
In fact, she’s already warned Jason to stay far away from their son. But given that Danny is a whole lot like his father, we already know he’s not going to take that lying down.
He will find a way to remain in his father’s life — even if it’s from the other side of a prison cell.
General Hospital Spoilers — Fighting for the Future
Jason couldn’t argue with Sam that she had been fighting to protect his son from him for years. She has made him her priority when Jason was always intent on making work come first.
But that doesn’t make him an unfit parent, and if he manages to get around the current charges against him, that’s exactly what Sam will have to prove to keep him away from Danny.
Given Danny’s age, he may have a legal say in which parent he wants to live with, and it could come back to bite her if she pushes too hard for Jason to abandon Danny.
