General Hospital Spoilers: Shawn Butler Becomes Nina’s Silent Partner and More?!
General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) are waging a revenge war against Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) and she needs an ally.
Her ex Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) is all in, but he needs to pull a few strings to get what he wants to level the playing field.
General Hospital spoilers: Valentin is Helping Nina
Drew fired Nina as the Crimson editor and she planned to start a rival publication. But Drew has poisoned the well, and no one wants to work with Nina.
When Valentin found out that Nina was feeling like giving up, he gave her a pep talk and she re-thought her situation.
Valentin and Nina are both schemers and he doesn’t want Nina to let Drew and Carly win. In a pivotal showdown, Nina informed Drew that he would be sorry he messed with her and Valentin made a mysterious phone call which appeared to be tied in to his and Nina’s plan.
GH spoilers: How Will Nina Thwart
Obviously Valentin is bringing in some reinforcements to up his game, the big question is who does he think can help in a vendetta against Carly and Drew?
We’re in the middle of February sweeps so it makes sense that whoever was on the other end of Valentine’s phone call has shock value.
It makes sense that Valentin would want someone with publishing experience and we know that Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) will have a new business partner at The Invader.
Shawn Butler (Sean Blakemore) is the publisher of The Invader. He is building the brand in San Francisco, with Alexis running the PC office.
Could it be Shawn who was talking to Valentin and perhaps forging a partnership of some sort? It will take a herculean effort to launch a successful magazine and Shawn ticks all the boxes.
General Hospital spoilers: Can Shawn Help Nina?
Plus it doesn’t hurt that Shawn is easy on the eyes. Right now Nina’s marriage to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is comatose and may never revive.
With Shawn as a partner, Nina might mix business with pleasure, if only to make Sonny jealous! Stay tuned GH fans, spoilers reveal that there are some twists coming in this storyline!
