General Hospital Spoilers Monday, January 22: Important Questions, Escaping Snoops, Unwilling Executives
General Hospital spoilers and updates for Monday, January 22 tease important questions, escaping snoops, and unwilling executives.
Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) is asked important questions, Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) catches an escaping snoop, and Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) an unwilling executive.
General Hospital Spoilers: Nina Corinthos Is Reeling
In the Crimson magazine office Nina Corinthos (Cynthia Watros) is reeling, after being fired as editor in chief by Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
Drew brought in Carly as her replacement, just to dig in the knife of revenge and give it one final twist. Nina directs her question to Carly, or perhaps to both Carly and Drew as she asks if they’re finally even?
Carly had just gotten done acknowledging to Sam Mc Call (Kelly Monaco) that she was as responsible for the SEC fiasco as Nina was reporting it. She was the one who bought the stock to inflate it even though Drew warned her not to, and he took the punishment!
GH Spoilers: Important Questions
At the Metro Court restaurant, Gregory is asked important questions by Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton).
They’re having lunch together and Chase begs his dad to say yes. It sounds like they’re planning their wedding and Chase wants his father to be his best man. The elder Chase is understandably hesitant to say yes considering his ALS is progressing.
General Hospital Spoilers: Escaping Snoops
In the meantime, upstairs at Deception Cosmetics, Martin catches an escaping snoop running out of Maxie Jones’ (Kirsten Storms) office.
He catches Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) in his arms and asks where she thinks she’s running off to in such a hurry! Lucy was probably snooping in things she had no business snooping in, like trying to use Maxie’s computer to hack into Tracy Quartermaine’s (Jane Elliot).
Lucy is colluding with Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) in a scam meant to get back everything Tracy took from her, and then some. He’s supposed to be romancing a supposedly lonely and vulnerable Tracy into a marriage, then they plan to take her for everything she’s got!
GH Spoilers: Plotting Away
Meanwhile, back downstairs in the Metro Court Restaurant, Scott and Tracy are having lunch. They engage in a battle of wits as Scott points his finger in her face, telling her justice is the reason they’re there.
Tracy wasn’t exactly law abiding and ethical herself when she conned Lucy out of her one ELQ stock and over half of the company. Getting Lucy’s share and her company back plus everything of Tracy’s is the justice he’s talking about!
General Hospital Spoilers: Desperate Daughter
Meanwhile, a frantic and frightened Esme Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) is at the prison, visiting her birth mother Heather Webber (Alley Mills).
She was beside herself when she fled from the Jerome Art Gallery, after she realized neither Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) or Ava Jerome (Maura West) could, or would, help her. She tells Heather she’s the only person that she can turn to.
Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) turned on her and gave her baby Ace Prince-Cassadine (Joey and Jay Clay) to their father, Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss). No one knows how to find Nikolas or get her baby back!
GH Spoilers: Accessory Arrest
Meanwhile, Spencer is at the PCPD being interrogated by Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) who Laura Collins (Genie Francis) called after she found out about the kidnapping.
Esme is Ace’s custodial parent, not Nikolas, so that means he committed parental kidnapping. Dante tells Spencer maybe he should arrest him instead, as Spencer is probably trying to reinstate Esme’s old charges and have her arrested.
Which part of being an accessory to a parental kidnapping and aiding and abetting a fugitive did Spencer not understand?
General Hospital Spoilers: Unwilling Executive
Meanwhile, back with Drew and Carly, it’s obvious that Carly was playing along with Drew and thought he was bluffing Nina about her taking her job as editor in chief.
She looks troubled as Drew gets insistent, right in her face and wanting to know why she couldn’t love it and do it forever! Carly is honoring her late mother Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) and running Kelly’s, now renamed Bobbie’s and that’s all she wants to do.
She had just come from talking to Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) about the changes in Drew since he came back from prison. She’d also admitted that she was responsible for Drew’s prison time as much as Nina, since she’d sold Aurora stock to inflate the price even though he’d warned her not to.
