General Hospital Spoilers: Austin’s Confession Leaves Ava Reeling — How Will She Exact Revenge?
General Hospital spoilers report Ava Jerome (Maura West) isn’t the type of woman who forgives or forgets. Ava can spend years ruminating over the last man who broke her heart.
General Hospital Spoilers Highlights
While she put up a good front pretending she wasn’t all that into Dr. Austin Gatlin Holt (Roger Howarth) as he was into her, the tears on her face as she stood in her gallery and confronted Austin told a different story.
Ava had fallen for Austin, and she thought he was truly a friend and ally. Instead, he was her enemy, too — the entire time. She never should have trusted him as far as she is concerned, and now she most certainly doesn’t think she can.
For most women, they would never want to see Austin again, but for Ava, she usually wants to settle the score. Just how can she do that with the not-so-good doctor?
General Hospital Spoilers — Ava is Complicit
It would be easy to turn Austin in for conspiring with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), but she has little evidence of such that paints Austin in any kind of incriminating light.
Furthermore, she doesn’t want to raise any red flags that push Cyrus to turn up in her face again. She would much rather coexist and pray she never runs into the man for the rest of her days, although she worries that may be less likely now.
Further, now that she has sent Austin away — telling him she hates him — she won’t have the reassurance of having him in her corner. But did she ever?
GH Spoilers Hint Austin is Still in Ava’s Corner
Despite kicking him out of her gallery — and presumably her life — Ava is going to benefit from Austin’s feelings for her whether she likes it or not.
He won’t stop keeping a watchful eye on her, and Cyrus knows better than to assume just because Ava is done with Austin, that Austin will stop caring. He can still use Austin’s feelings for her as leverage to deploy him in whatever fashion he feels fit.
General Hospital Spoilers — Hate is a Strong Word
We know how this goes with Ava. When she’s hurting, she hurts everyone around her — especially the person who brought her so much pain. She wants Austin to feel the way she does.
She wants to betray him, shock him, and leave him wondering how she could do whatever she’s done to him. Without any further attachment to him, the only way she might be able to exact revenge is to turn him in or report him to the medical board for nursing Nikolas — a fugitive from justice — back to health.
But she can’t very well do that without forsaking herself, too. Will Ava find the means to exact revenge on her own terms without throwing herself under the bus at the same time? Stay tuned for more General Hospital news and spoilers to find out.
