The Young and the Restless Spoilers UPDATE Wednesday, July 12: Devon & Abby Move On, Sally Reconsiders, Chelsea’s Decision
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, July 12 tease that billionaire Devon Hamilton-Winters (Bryton James) and heiress Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) are closing one door and opening another. Literally.
Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) offered his ex, Abby, and her baby daddy Devon the chance to move into the Chancellor mansion with Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (Rainn and River Ware). Once upon a time Chance and Abby were ready to raise the boy together, but a case of PTSD, and seeing his naked wife on top of Devon, changed the dream forever.
The Young and the Restless spoilers: Devon Moves On
Chance is a good guy though and knows that Dominic will be happier in his original home. At the same time, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) is taking possession of Devon’s penthouse.
It’s an exciting time for Devon, Abby, and Dominic, and Devon will feel good being in his late grandmother Katherine Chancellor’s (Jeanne Cooper) home.
Y&R spoilers: Chelsea Veers Off
Meanwhile, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) is also making big changes. Chelsea accepts Summer Newman-Abbott’s (Allison Lanier) job offer to be Marchetti’s creative director. It’s a big step but in the last few months she has healed and is ready to move on.
Speaking of the fashion industry, designer Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) contemplates her own future. She and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) recently lost their baby, and Sally blames Adam for the tragic turn of events.
Adam had to make a split-second decision to save either Sally or the baby’s life and she is the only one who thinks he made the wrong choice.
The Young and the Restless spoilers: Adam And Forgiveness
Adam was in an impossible situation, without any loved ones around at the hospital to guide him. The baby would have been born premature with no guarantee of survival and he was forced to make a hard choice.
He doesn’t deserve Sally’s hatred, something her boo—and Adam’s brother Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow)–has been trying to tell her. After receiving a heartfelt letter from Adam, Sally may be ready to face the future. And that could mean forgiving Adam and realizing that she still loves him!
