The Young And The Restless Spoilers Wednesday, October 7: Audra Plays Referee, Matt’s Unexpected Revelation
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, October 7 reveal that Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) has a revelation following the car crash in which Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) was a passenger.
But first let’s start with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) who have some girl time together.
Sharon & Phyllis Have Come a Long Way
Phyllis bought the GCAC and the office building across from Newman Tower from Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) and she’s practically shouting it from the rooftops.
At some point Sharon is informed of her bestie’s success at which time Red could complain that her kids don’t appreciate her talents.
Never mind that Phyllis has given Daniel Romalotti Jr. (Michael Graziadei) and Summer Newman (last played by Allison Lanier) ample reasons not to trust or believe her. According to Phyllis she is misunderstood.
Phyllis is Misunderstood
Sharon and Phyllis’ convo eventually turns to MIA Matt, with the latter saying she misses the cad but has a bright future to look forward to.
Sharon wasn’t thrilled about Phyllis taking up with Matt but now that he’s gone the tension between the ladies is, too.
Phyllis and Sharon Reunite
Speaking of Matt, he has an epiphany about where Patty may have run off to after the car accident.
Matt figures that Patty is on her way back to Genoa City and knows he has to interrupt her before she can do major damage.
Then again, with Matt’s latest head injury he could revert back to the dark side. When he returns to GC, will he be Old Matt or New Matt?
Matt Reverts to Form?
Elsewhere, Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) relishes her role as Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) maid of honor. To this end she plays peacemaker between Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman).
She is determined that Sally have a dream wedding so when she sees a tense moment between Adam and Billy she gets between them.

Audra reminds them that Sally’s happiness is the priority and demands that they call a truce—can they stay amicable until the big day?
Adam and Billy may want to please Sally but that is a tall order. Red hot The Young and the Restless spoilers hint that Sally and Billy’s wedding encounters turbulence so stay tuned for all the fireworks!
