The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Nick Risks Everything For Marie – Victor Steps In Before It’s Too Late

The Young and the Restless spoilers show that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) is on a warpath, but one that he might not be able to see through to the end.

We’ve seen Nick go through a lot over the years, but going toe to toe with drug dealers and addiction itself might be too big for even the great Nick Newman to handle.

Is Marie Worth All The Trouble?

I understand that Marie Kirkland (Jade Harlow) played a big part in Nick’s addiction storyline, and how they leaned on each other and all that.

Sure, they have each other. But do they really know each other? They haven’t actually spent that much time together, let alone enough time to get to know someone.

Yet, for some reason, Nick is fighting for this woman like she’s the patron saint of love.

This woman could end up costing Nick everything, and I’ll be honest… I don’t understand why. Of course, while he’s out white-knighting, he won’t be alone. His handy dandy daddy will be in the fold.

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) can make anything disappear! Laws and police? Nonsense when the mustache comes around.

Will Victor Make Things Even Worse?

Victor’s help usually comes with strings attached, and he’s never been one to shy away from using his own children’s mistakes to drag them back under his control.

Each year it seems one of his children fights to get out from under his thumb, and every time they make a mistake, he drags them right back down. These are adult children, by the way; just wanted to make that part clear.

Victor wouldn’t let Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) sponsor Nick because of decades-old disagreements.

Jack was arguably the best option for Nick, but because Daddy Victor is a whiny old bat, he put his son in a worse position. It could’ve ended this storyline before it even began, but where’s the fun in that?

Hopefully, Nick realizes before it’s too late that this isn’t worth it.
