It appears as though Melania might have been the one to stop her and her husband, President Donald Trump, from attending his son Donald Trump Jr’s wedding to Bettina Anderson back in May in the Bahamas.
That’s because it’s now being revealed that the entire wedding was bankrolled by a Russian oligarch who has ties with none other than Vladimir Putin himself.
Even though the President of the United States has always been very close with all of his adult children, it seems like something must have changed in recent years. That, or Melania just knew that it wouldn’t be a good idea to attend a controversial wedding, even though it was for a family member.
Donald Trump said over the summer that he couldn’t attend his son’s wedding in the Bahamas because he was too busy dealing with the ongoing war in Iran.
Melania Trump Knew It Was The Right Thing To Do
Yet, a lot of people have pointed out that the President of the United States had no problem finding the time to attend the NBA finals and watch his hometown team of the New York Knicks take on the San Antonio Spurs at Madison Square Garden during that same weekend.
Whatever the case, there’s no doubt that Melania Trump is now looking back at her decision knowing that she made the right one. That, and she also knows that her husband Donald Trump doesn’t have any explaining to do for an oligarch-backed wedding that he clearly didn’t attend.
