The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Katie Sees Right Through Dylan – Is She Using Will for Money?
The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Will Spencer’s (Crew Morrow) parents are still in the middle of his relationships.
While his dad backs him moving on with Melissa Dylan (Sydney Bullock), Will’s mother is even more opposed than ever.
Katie Logan Spencer (Heather Tom) recognized something in the young woman she refers to by her full name, rather than the nickname that Will was given and uses.
Dylan was Electra Forrester’s (Laneya Grace) friend, or seemed to be more than a year ago.
But viewers know that a lot has changed from last summer to this one. Dylan didn’t tell her mother that she was Will’s girlfriend or works at Forrester Creations.
But Katie left something major out when she intentionally tried to embarrass Dylan in front of her mother, Darcy Dylan (Kelly Sullivan).
Luna Nozawa Committed Multiple Crimes
Viewers recall the memorable storyline where Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) determined that Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) killed two people at Il Girardino.
The person who committed those two murders, the second of which helped to keep Luna’s identity covered for having committed the first, was a mystery on this soap.
But in a cleverly written storyline, Yamada’s character was stunningly revealed as the murderer.
Steffy was the first to solve that mystery and chased Luna to a condemned apartment building where she had been living with her mother.
Luna used the chase to lure Steffy into the abandoned apartment, knocked her unconscious, and locked her in a large metal cage.
The sight of Wood’s character in that holding cell was classic daytime drama.
That was later followed by Luna’s eventual return and capture of Dylan, who she tied up, gagged, and placed in a closet in the beach house.
Steffy Forrester Finnegan Felt Obligated To Help
Electra was vehemently opposed to Steffy hiring Dylan. Grace’s character saw repeated evidence that she was chasing Will and implored Steffy not to hire Dylan at Forrester Creations.
But Steffy felt sorry for Dylan because of what Luna did to her. Plus, she knew that Dylan needed a job and wanted to give her an opportunity.
It’s fair to argue that Dylan exploited the help that Electra and Steffy provided.
Electra believes that Bullock’s character was lying in wait the entire time and always wanted Will. Of course, Dylan has since acknowledged to Electra and Will that she loves him.
Katie Logan Spencer’s Instincts Are Right
How much does Will or anyone else really know about Dylan?
The answer to Katie’s repeated question is simple. Only what she’s told everyone, which isn’t much.
It was stunning to learn that Dylan has withheld almost everything she’s experienced in LA from her mother, who was hurt that her daughter hadn’t confided in her.
Darcy still needs to be told what Luna did to her. That one plot point could be used as a logical reason why Dylan has withheld all the rest. She didn’t want to worry her mother or get her hopes up.
Dylan has presented herself as a Midwesterner who grew up in humble surroundings on a farm and is an artist and a dancer.
She told her mother, when moving to Los Angeles, California, and Katie, that she wants a better life and is striving for it.
Katie feels that Dylan has targeted Will, who can fulfill all of Dylan’s goals.
Katie doesn’t see love in Dylan’s heart; she sees a calculating opportunist. Will needed someone to replace Electra’s loss, and he thinks he found her.
The past and present will be used to prove whether Katie’s instincts are on the money. Since she goes by a nickname, which is her last name, maybe another one could be used for Melissa. Dollar Dylan.
