General Hospital spoilers say there’s a good chance that we will soon see a brand new face in this fictional town that is going to do a very familiar job. Keep reading below for all the details you need to know.
Who Is Replacing Jason Morgan?
Clearly, we are talking about the possibility of seeing someone take over from Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) now that he will no longer be Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard) right hand man.
Jason recently made it clear that he no longer wants to be in the mob and that he wants to focus on raising his son Danny, especially since his mother Sam McCall died. Jason has been there, done that, and doesn’t want anything to do with the mob life every again.
But here’s the thing: even if Jason steps away, someone is going to have to replace him, right? There’s no way that Sonny can manage the mob life on his own. Or at least, that’s what fans think.
Of course, the internet certainly did have a lot to say about the matter.
Some even commented with, “Can Sonny just retire and go away? The mob stuff (just like the character of Sonny himself)is tired and played out. The show has literally shifted away from it to more spy/WSB stuff too. Which works for me.”
Another critic wrote, “After he had his heart surgery in Cali, Sonny said he was giving up his mob ties. It was Sidwell who was trying to re-ignite the mob game.”

And then there was this comment as well: “Maybe this guy who just came to town, and made Ethan immediately split? It’s a contract role supposedly. They have to have something in mind for him.”
“Or, how about no enforcer how? About Sonny, concentrate on other things besides being a half ass mob boss! I’m glad Jason is leaving that life.”
