The Young and the Restless Spoilers Tuesday, July 7: Patty & Kyle Clash, Nikki is Discharged, Dr. Markham’s Treachery
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) for Tuesday, July 7 hint that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) is able to leave the hospital, catty Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) bests Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) loses it as Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is operated on after being stabbed.
His wife Diane Jenkins Abbott (Susan Walters) meanwhile must defend herself against Patty’s accusations that she stabbed Jack.
Will Jack Survive?
Patty is the attacker but she accuses Diane of being the culprit and she could sway Dr. Laurence Markham (Jere Burns) into backing her up.
Dr. Markham was hoodwinked by Diane and it wouldn’t take much to persuade him to tell Detective James Burrow (Matt Cohen) that Patty is the victim.
Kyle and Diane know better and the former goes into overdrive to convince the PCPD that Diane is innocent.
Who Does Detective Burrow Believe?
Even though Patty’s claim is ludicrous, Detective Burrow may have no other choice than to arrest Diane if Dr. Markham says that Patty is telling the truth.
On Tuesday’s episode Patty gloats but the war with Diane is just beginning.
Is Diane Arrested?
Elsewhere, Nikki prepares to be discharged after an operation to restore her eyesight.
She must decide where she will live and if she will return to her GCAC suite.
In the middle of everything, Victor proclaims that he wants Nikki to move back to the ranch and the home he kicked her out of.
We suspect that Nikki is surprised, but in the end this option is the one that makes the most sense.
Nikki is familiar with the layout and it will be convenient for her family to take care of her there.
Despite her protests, in the end Nikki decides to go back home and let her family aid in her recovery.
Victor’s Grand Offer
Even though Nikki is well enough to be discharged, she is consumed with doubt about her eyesight returning and thus her stress level is high.
