The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Friday, May 22 hint that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is spooked, while Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) and Holden Novak’s (Nathan Owens) New York rendezvous provides a few revelations.
Meanwhile, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) gets stubborn about her estrangement from egotistic Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).

Niktor In the Weeds
Victor did a terrible thing to Nikki’s bestie, Jack Abbott. For this she is furious and needs an apology. However, Victor is in no mood to beg forgiveness. He hates Jack-a** (as he referred to him in the May 21 epi!).
Nikki can’t believe what Victor did, kidnapping Jack and setting deranged Patty Williams (Stacy Haiduk) upon him. Long story short, Jack was drugged and assaulted on a yacht and his dimwit wife blames him for it.
Jack Was Mistreated
Nikki also discussed their son during the tense convo with Victor. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) desperately needs help for a fentanyl addiction. Nick lied and said he’s in rehab but his obsession with Matt has him on a dangerous path.
On Thursday’s episode he discovers that Patty freed Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) leaving Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) without a bargaining chip. Fans will see Nick spiral further on Friday and launch his own search for the bad guy.
Matt is Missing
Elsewhere, Jack does something he’ll regret and in New York Holden and Claire take things to a next level. Claire has insisted that he spill the story about what went down in Los Angeles with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver), has she changed her mind about that?
Fans know what Holden is hiding—that he killed a man and covered it up. Is he ready to admit to the awful truth?
What Happens Next in GC?
It will be interesting to see Claire’s reaction if she learns the truth about what Holden is hiding. Will she reject him or come to a new understanding of him?
