General Hospital Spoilers: Kristina & Ethan Plot Baby Theft – BLQ And Chase Blindsided?
General Hospital spoilers and updates reveal Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) are eager to adopt baby Phoebe Wilson (Luna and Lucia Creighton), but they are facing several challenges.
Not only could BLQ’s involvement in Jordan Ashford’s (Tanisha Harper) accident pose a problem, but Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean Parsons) and Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi) might also create complications.
Brook Lynn And Chase Bonded With Phoebe
It seems we might be in for a surprise regarding little Phoebe’s adoption, which could result in Brook Lynn and Chase missing out on their chance to become parents.
Back in March, when Brook Lynn and Chase encountered Delilah Wilson (Lily Cardone), they found her unconscious on the ground and heavily pregnant.
They quickly took her to General Hospital, where Delilah required an emergency C-section, and tragically, she passed away shortly after.
Following this, Brook Lynn and Chase continued to visit little Phoebe in the NICU. They formed a bond with her despite Tracy Quartermaine’s (Jane Elliot) warnings that it was a bad idea.
Brook Lynn And Chase Want To Adopt Phoebe
Currently, with no visible family to be found, BLQ and Chase are eager to adopt little Phoebe. Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) is representing them.
She informed them in the latest episode, that if they have any secrets to disclose, they should come clean now or tidy things up before submitting their adoption application.
She cautioned Brook Lynn and Chase that the adoption process involves a comprehensive background check.
Alexis mentioned that any undisclosed problems could jeopardize the adoption, which left Brooklyn feeling anxious; however, it’s not solely her actions that could jeopardize the adoption.
Chase is unaware that Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) is orchestrating a situation for him to appear to cheat with Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen).
Michael Already Has A PI Following Chase And Willow And Taking Pictures
Chase wouldn’t actually sleep with Willow, but he doesn’t need to actually commit adultery.
All Michael requires is for Chase to find himself in a situation with Willow that seems highly suspicious. And then private investigator
Elaine Stevens (Judy Cain) along with her little dog Mavis can be there to capture a photo; they’ve already begun.
It’s just the appearance of impropriety that Michael needs to happen. It’s part of his plan to get sole custody of Wiley and Amelia Corinthos (Viron Weaver, Serenity and Sequoia Mork Macko).
Brook Lynn May Have Contributed To Causing Curtis And Jordan’s Accident
In the meantime, Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) has come to the conclusion that Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) abandoned him and Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) during a fiery car accident.
However, it certainly appears that Brook Lynn was the other driver involved.
The situation looks grim since Isaiah damaged his vehicle in the General Hospital parking garage, and it is currently undergoing repairs.
Additionally, he is reluctant to inform anyone that he was at Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins Bruening) home treating Rocco Falconeri’s (Finn Carr) hand infection without proper documentation. This poses a significant issue.
Brook Lynn Only Learned Of The Accident The Day After It Happened
Isaiah cautioned Lulu that she and Rocco serve as his alibi. Yet, he later confided in Portia that he is uncertain if the timing matches up, suggesting he might not have been part of the accident unless he is deceiving everyone.
What is evident, however, is that Isaiah did not witness the car crash involving Jordan and Curtis, regardless of whether he was driving nearby.
The same goes for BLQ; she was in a hurry to catch Gio Palmieri’s (Giovanni Mazza) performance at Charlie’s Pub, if you recall. Brook Lynn only learned about the accident the following day, so it’s clear she did not witness it either.
Brook Lynn May Step Up If Isaiah Is Prosecuted For The Wreck
Essentially, Curtis is completely mistaken about the other driver, regardless of who was in that car.
However, if Isaiah is going to take the fall, Brook Lynn may step up since she was the one who hit the guardrail.
Additionally, another vehicle was on the road-Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) and Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) were present.
No one is certain-it’s possible they caused Brook Lynn to scrape her car, and also they haven’t talked about the fourth car on the road.
The kids were unaware of another crash happening, and they haven’t claimed that Jordan was responsible for the crash.
Ethan Might Be Baby Phoebe’s Father
In the meantime, it seems more and more probable that Ethan could be the father of Delilah’s baby.
If you recall, Ethan was taken aback when Brook Lynn and Chase introduced him to Phoebe and shared the story of Delilah and her tragic death. Later, while gazing at Delilah’s photo, he expressed regret for not being able to protect her.
Subsequently, he burned the photo and vowed to keep the truth hidden. However, Ethan appeared quite uneasy when he and Kristina visited Brook Lynn, Chase, and Alexis to chat.
Ethan Said Babies Scare Him, After Previously Talking About Visiting His Family And Baby Niece
During this visit, Kristina was cradling baby Phoebe, looking completely enamored, while Alexis expressed her gratitude to Brook Lynn for allowing Kristina to hold the baby.
They discussed Kristina’s recovery after losing the baby she was carrying when she fell through that window.
When Ethan inquired about what was happening, Kristina informed him about the baby that had passed away and apologized for not allowing him to hold Phoebe. He responded, “Babies scare me.” This was after he had previously mentioned a trip to visit his family in France and brought up Daisy Gilmore (Evelyn and Brenden Beimford).
Ethan then asked Kristina if Phoebe would be happy living with Brook Lynn and Chase.
If Chase Is Accused Of Adultery And Brook Lynn Comes Clean, Ethan May Change His Mind
If Chase is accused of being with Willow and Brook Lynn reveals she was in Jordan’s crash, Ethan might rethink his views on babies.
Kristina still plans to keep the baby meant for her sister Molly Lansing-Davis. Her desire to be a mom hasn’t changed. Ethan may already be a father but isn’t admitting it; it makes sense for him to ask Kristina for help with baby Phoebe.
If he is Delilah’s baby daddy, claiming the child should be easy.
However, Brook Lynn and Chase might contest this with CPS since Ethan didn’t come forward right away, which isn’t a good sign. A responsible parent would want to claim their child.
There Was A Recent Leak About A Marriage Of Convenience
There was also a recent leak about a marriage of convenience. This could be to avoid testifying in a criminal matter, or it might involve Kristina and Ethan regarding baby Phoebe.
Ethan wants to protect Delilah’s baby but is anxious about parenting-Kristina, on the other hand, is eager to have a baby.
If there’s an issue with Ethan claiming his child due to his silence, being married and having a mother present could help. By the way, Kristina and Ethan have a romantic history if you don’t remember or weren’t watching then.
Kristina Had A Huge Crush On Ethan At One Time
Kristina had a huge crush on Ethan, but after her violent ex Kiefer Bauer (Christian Alexander) beat her, she blamed Ethan.
She feared that if she revealed Kiefer’s abuse, he would kill her. Ethan later forgave Kristina, and it seemed like everything was fine.
This week, Portia told Isaiah they needed to pray for the real driver in the crash to be found and it looks like it could be Brook Lynn.
With the crash and Michael targeting Chase, things could get messy; Ethan and Kristina might work together to hijack the adoption process for little Phoebe if they think the potential parents aren’t suitable.
They Could Interfere With The Adoption
They could hijack the adoption by interfering with it-Kristina justified wanting to keep the baby from Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) and TJ Ashford (Tahj Bellow) due to their issues.
She argued that Molly and TJ weren’t fit parents because they had arguments. Kristina believed they might break up and that the baby needed stability they couldn’t offer.
So, while she might tell Ethan that Brook Lynn and Chase would be good parents, she could change her mind if scandals arise about Brook Lynn possibly being the driver in the crash and Chase being made to look unfaithful.
