Of course, we are talking about Melania Trump as there seem to be some tragic details floating around about her supposedly past association with Jeffrey Epstein.
But here’s the thing: the First Lady recently went on the record to make it clear to everyone that she never was a part of Jeffrey Epstein’s inner circle, or was she one of the “girls” or “victims” that were named in the DOJ’s investigation into the disgraced but also dead financier.
In her statement just last week, the First Lady said, “The lies linking me with the disgraceful Jeffrey Epstein need to end today.”
“Donald and I were invited to the same parties as Epstein from time to time, since overlapping in social circles is common in New York City.”
Melania continued, “Epstein did not introduce me to Donald Trump. I met my husband by chance. This initial encounter with my husband is documented in my book.”
What’s Next For Melania Trump?
For someone like Melania Trump, who values her privacy and doesn’t allow the media to get to close to her or her personal life for that matter, this was a big leap from staying quiet to telling the world that she was not someone who was hired by Epstein, nor did she meet her husband, President Donald Trump, because of him.
And while Trump has made it clear that he didn’t even know that his wife was holding a press conference to talk about Jeffrey Epstein and how she doesn’t want to be associated with any of the rumors, this was a move that clearly both of them didn’t want to see happen.
For Melania, all that really matters is that she managed to get her version of the truth out before anyone else.
Clearly, the First Lady didn’t want the rumors or press reports to distort the truth and what really happened and that’s why she made that statement about Jeffrey Epstein before anyone else could.
So far Melania Trump herself has not made any further comments about the matter, although at this point it’s doubtful that anything will be said. Watch this space for more!
