That’s because the First Lady has just been criticized for apparently acting insensitive amid tensions during the Iranian war.
Per the latest reports, Melania is still promoting her documentary, which is aptly also named ‘Melania’ despite the fact that her husband, President Donald Trump, has ignited a new war with Iran.
The movie will soon hit Amazon Prime, but it’s not like anyone is waiting on pins and needles to watch it.
What’s Next For Melania Trump?
The doc didn’t do as well as she had hoped in the cinemas. In fact, the doc only made $8 million, despite the fact that it cost about ten times more to make it.
And for the First Lady of the United States, she can’t help but feel absolutely devastated over the matter. This was her time to shine in the spotlight and instead, she’s getting shamed.
It’s not enough that ticket sales were as poor as they were, but Melania also got some of the worst movie reviews in the last twelve months. A lot of people called it a snoozefest and a documentary that’s not even worth watching if it were available for online streaming.
For Melania, she knows that this is as bad as it can get. However, she can’t help but put the blame on her husband, President Donald Trump, and his approval rating, which has sunk to all new lows these last several weeks.
Donald Trump himself said that he’s only seen bits and pieces of the documentary, but not the entire film. He recently said, “I think it’s going to do very–you know, she did a book and the book was a big number one bestseller, and this is a movie, and it seems to be captivating a lot of people’s attention.”
But some people think that Donald Trump not even bothering to make time to see his wife’s documentary has got to be the ultimate insult. After all, she’s spent so many years supporting him with his projects, one would think that Donald would do the same for his wife, too.
