Jason and Britt’s love story was once relationship goals, with each personality nicely complementing the other.
When it was announced that Kelly Thiebaud was coming back to the ABC soap, a fire was lit under viewers who wanted the old magic to return. That hasn’t happened. What’s gone wrong?
Let’s break down how this once flourishing relationship has floundered.
Should Britt and Jason Be Together Again or Call it Quits?
Jason and Britt’s reunion has been disappointing thus far, and some fans are vocalizing their displeasure. Specifically, it’s been mentioned that Britt is acting like a child, arrogant and mouthy, and has done nothing but create drama and messes for Jason to fix.
That was exactly how they were reintroduced at the Five Poppies Resort—Jason had to get a bomb off her ankle! Since then not much has changed, with Britt continuing to push Jason away.
Back in PC, Britt got drunk at the Brown Dog and kissed Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) in front of Jason in a bid to make him jealous.
Britt Needs to Grow Up
This week Jason had to save Britt’s bacon again after she and Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) ran up an enormous dinner tab, resulting in a dine and dash and later a trip to the PCPD.
Britt is under pressure by being under Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) thumb. Still, her behavior is more like a petulant teenager than a woman worried for her safety.
In contrast, this past year has seen Jason mature exponentially. He stepped up when Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) died and he is doing his best to parent rebellious Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn).
Britt’s Inappropriate Behavior
Based on Britt’s rude behavior, a ton of fans are calling for a boycott of JaBritt. Are you one of them?
At the same time, loyal Jason and Britt fans are holding out hope that something changes soon.

I never saw a love story between Jason/Britt. The two became close during the time they were on the run, but have really never had a story line whereby the two came together under normal circumstances. Not sure about the Britt viewers are seeing now, but I have never felt any romantic chemistry between the two characters that is being pushed by writers and some viewers. Jason has been doing just fine going solo and I feel him getting involved with Britt romantically would bring him nothing more chaos in his life.Jason needs to direct his attentions toward Danny more who is going through a lot by loosing his mom and not being able to see his sister Just my opinion.
