General Hospital Spoilers: Lucas’ Lunchtime Dish With Lulu Could Seal Willow’s Fate — But Is She Guilty?

General Hospital spoilers report Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) schooled Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) over lunch at Bobbie’s on Tuesday, and the fans are desperate to see what comes next.
The look on Lulu’s face when Lucas told her she was underestimating Willow Tait’s (Katelyn MacMullen) penchant for violence told us everything we needed to know.
Is Lulu about to embark on an investigative journalism piece that could sink Willow and/or Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson)?
While she seemed eager to tackle it when she thought Michael might be guilty of framing Willow, Lucas’ words could have scared her straight when he told her she should push pause before she potentially helps set a guilty woman free. Yikes! Is this all about that break-room slap? We think not!
The Slap Heard Around the Hospital
Lucas took a proud stand in support of his fellow coworkers when he called Willow out for compromising the work environment at GH.
Citing Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), Stella Henry (Vernee Watson), and Deanna Sirtis (Dioni Michelle Collins) being willing to testify on Willow’s behalf in her custody case, Lucas laid into Willow for letting her “mess” spill out into the workplace.
This all came on the heels of accusing her of not putting her kids first, namely, Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver). Obviously, there’s a history there, but did Lucas earn that cold slap in the face by speaking on it?
The Backstory is Rife with Bias
Accusing Willow of caring more about Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) than she does about her kids wasn’t entirely off the mark, considering her behavior since last summer.
Tanking her marriage to Michael by having an affair with his uncle was cringeworthy from the start, but few fans imagined how far Willow would fall in the time since.
Still, it’s only fair to point out that Lucas came back to Port Charles last year still struggling with how he would live in the same town as the child he once called his own — Wiley.
Could he still be harboring an extra layer of resentment over losing him, even though that wasn’t Michael or Willow’s fault?
Perhaps, but his protective nature makes sense, and so does his perception of Willow as being more than capable of violence.
An Honest Mistake?
Willow regretted that slap the second it happened, but she still lost self-control in the movement and did whatever felt good to her in the moment.
Who’s to say she didn’t do the same on the night of Drew’s shooting? At the time, she was reeling from finding out about his torrid affair with her mother, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros).
Could her inclination to lay her hands on someone else have been the result of a woman on the brink who had no support and no coping skills left to endure the pain she was in?
Absolutely, but the question isn’t just if Willow is capable of shooting Drew; it’s also whether she would engage in violence that was premeditated. We have a feeling Lulu is on her way to finding out. In the meantime, what do you think? Did Willow try to kill Drew?
