General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) is allowing her anger to lead her down a regrettable path.
We understand why Brook Lynn is so upset with Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening), but that doesn’t imply that Brook Lynn’s plan for revenge is the best course of action.
Gio’s World Exploded At The Nurses’ Ball
GH fans are aware that Lulu discovered Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) is the adult son of Brook Lynn and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna). This led her to confront Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) backstage at the Nurses Ball.
This confrontation allowed Gio to overhear the truth about his parentage, leaving him completely shocked, and turning his world upside down, causing Brook Lynn to blame Lulu for her son’s suffering.
Currently, Gio is distancing himself from Brook Lynn while growing closer to Lulu, which is only complicating things further! It’s easy to see why Brook Lynn might want some revenge on Lulu, especially since they had a rivalry even before these events unfolded.
Brook Lynn Wants To Show Lulu Up For Her “Honest Mom” Act
Now Brook Lynn is determined to show that Lulu isn’t the truthful mother she pretends to be. Lulu behaves as if she would never deceive her children or hide enormous secrets from them, yet she is concealing a significant one from Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr).
Brook Lynn has been investigating Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and the entire stolen embryo controversy, which means she possesses evidence that Britt gave birth to “Ben Westbourne.” Rocco seems to be unaware of that surrogacy issue and the circumstances of his own birth. Naturally, this revelation is arguably less distressing than what Gio experienced.
Brook Lynn’s Not Thinking This Out
Unless the GH writers have some bizarre retcon in store, Rocco will still have the same biological parents when all is said and done. This revelation isn’t likely to drastically alter Rocco’s life, but it could definitely shift his perspective on Lulu and Dante.
Rocco might feel as though his parents have hidden something significant from him, potentially leading him to lash out at both of them.
Honestly, Brook Lynn doesn’t seem to be fully grasping the potential consequences of her actions. It’s evident that Brook Lynn’s quest for revenge against Lulu is bound to impact Rocco negatively, prompting some GH fans to question whether she is crossing a line.
It Would Be Different If Rocco Got Tangled Up In Brook Lynn’s Plot By Mistake
It would be a different situation if Rocco accidentally got caught up in Brook Lynn’s quest for revenge, but he plays a vital role in ensuring Lulu faces consequences.
Brook Lynn plans to sever Lulu’s ties with Rocco – and it’s incredibly harsh to target a kind-hearted teenage boy who has just discovered he’s Gio’s half-brother. You can be sure this will backfire on Brook Lynn in a big way since Gio will not support her scheming against Lulu.
Gio also won’t want to see Rocco get hurt, making this a poor decision all around.
Brook Lynn Will Only Be Adding To Dante’s Pain
Additionally, if Rocco ends up opposing Dante due to all the Britt-related secrecy, Brook Lynn will only exacerbate Dante’s suffering.
Dante is already finding it hard to engage with Gio, and now Brook Lynn might jeopardize the solid relationship he has with his other son! The information that Brook Lynn has been compiling reached Rocco in the episode that aired on June 26, so things could be about to blow up.
Dante has been upset with Brook Lynn for not telling him she was pregnant with his child over twenty years ago already. He put aside his anger suggesting they team up to reach Gio-what will this impulsive plot do to that plan?

Depending on each person’s persona or life’s experiences will determine how this question is answered. Personally I feel BL is going too far and it does not fit her personality. Writers are again (in my opinion) changing a character to fit the story line they have created.
Brooklyn is falling to Lulu’s level. Getting revenge by hurting kids is unacceptable. There are plenty of other ways Brooklyn can get revenge on lulu. Totally disappointed.

That was my exact thought. And then hopefully Lulu will try harder to help Gio bond with his parents and grandparents
I was hoping Brook Lynn would get whatever info she needed to torment Lulu but once she carelessly left those papers out it was all over! Its unnecessary to hurt children like these two are doing! And as grown woman the should be ashamed of themselves! But with that being said even though Britt carried Rocco (Ben) wasn’t she implanted with an egg that was created from Lulu and Dante so what will be accomplished from that Brook Lynn? They are his parents even if Lulu didn’t carry the baby!
