Let’s just say that the critics have spoken and they have made it pretty clear that they are not happy at all.
General Hospital Spoilers: Cyrus ‘Another Unexpected Casualty’
Of course, we are talking about Cyrus being killed in General Hospital. In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, actor Jeff Kober hinted that he wanted to stay on the show, but the writers clearly had different plans for his character.
And now a lot of fans are wondering if killing off Cyrus might have not been a good idea. After all, Jeff Kober is one of the most talented actors that Port Charles has seen in a very long time.
Of course, many General Hospital fans and critics certainly did have a lot to say about the storyline and the way that Cyrus exited the show on social media.
Some comments even included, “Another unacceptable casualty in this ongoing saga…this is how they say goodbye to this actor/character…I was hoping that they would turn this storyline around…wow just wow.”
Another critic wrote, “I thought he was wanting to leave but that wasn’t the case. Wish they hadn’t written Cyrus into a corner where he’d either have to go to prison or be offed. Sorry to see him go.”
“Please let him have a twin brother and bring him back. Or better still let this be a dream sequence. @JeffKorber is one of my favorites. He’s mesmerizing on screen.”

And then there was this comment as well: “Never say never but for now I wish there had been a way to keep him on, he should be in a padded cell at FernCliff, they could have had him hold Liz hostage and had PCPD come. But Jeff did incredible in his scenes , he really has a presence, sorry to see him go.”
It goes without saying that fans will simply have to tune in to find out what will happen next.

Not unexpected at all. I’m glad Cyrus has been eliminated. He killed off people who should never have been killed off the show. Now, the next person to go: Jenz Sidwell or Selina Wu.
