The actress, who is best known for her role as Alexis Davis on the hit ABC soap, wrote, “In light of the whole Democracy dying thing, a home invasion a few days later didn’t seem so bad. (wasn’t home, no one hurt).”
“So instead of crying about some lost stuff, I threw an “I got Robbed” party. Who needs jewelry and electronics when you’ve got family, friends, and my own Prince Charles to fix what broke. And laughter. You gotta laugh.”
Soon after Donald Trump was announced as the new President Elect of the country, Nancy made an announcement on her X (formerly Twitter) account that she would be leaving the social media platform because she didn’t feel safe anymore.
The actress even locked her account and wrote, “I’ll no longer be posting on a platform controlled by a meglamanical oligarch now that r country has committed suicide.”
“It feels unsafe. I’ll remain here solely to protect my name from being hijacked & will repost only. Plz connect with me on Threads, BlueSky, IG, FB & TikTok.”
The actress certainly has kept her promise as it’s almost been a month and she hasn’t been back. A lot of people can’t wonder if this is just a temporary break or if she might actually quit X for good.
