Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Deidre Hall Opens Up About Body & Soul’s Finale-How A Fake Soap Influenced Ron Carlivati’s Ouster
Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates reveal numerous fans are becoming weary of the absurd soap opera antics in Salem. It’s evident that Body & Soul has lingered longer than it should have, but there’s a silver lining.
In a recent chat with Michael Fairman, Deidre Hall, who plays Marlena Evans and Hattie Adams, revealed that Body & Soul has officially come to an end.
Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Deidre And The Rest Of The Cast Weren’t Fond Of The Soap-In-A Soap
The cast is currently busy with other projects, which means we can anticipate some significant changes coming to the screen in the near future.
Hall’s updates are expected, especially with a new writing team for Days, although their work won’t play out for several months. Interestingly, Hall suggested that the storyline on Body & Soul played a role in Ron Carlivati’s exit as Head Writer for DOOL.
When questioned about her experience with Body & Soul, Hall chose her words wisely. While she didn’t outright criticize the storyline, her body language and tone clearly indicated that it wasn’t her favorite-and the rest of the cast would agree.
DOOL Spoilers: Body And Soul Is Definitely Done
Body & Soul has wrapped up, and I believe that’s what led to Ron’s departure,” Hall shared. “We’ve moved past that and are focusing on stories about people again.”
Susan Seaforth Hayes, who plays Julie Williams, also participated in the discussion and added her perspective. She mentioned that while they experienced “some laughs and some cringes” during Body & Soul, they are now returning to narratives about “real people in real situations.”
It’s reassuring to see Days getting back to their strengths and heading in the right direction. Although Body & Soul had its moments of humor as a novelty at the start, it hasn’t proven to be effective as a long-term story arc.
Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Don’t Blame The Show!
If Body & Soul truly played a role in Carlivati’s departure, we can’t hold the show accountable! While Carlivati’s work will continue to air until April 2025, exciting changes are on the horizon with Paula Cwikly and Jeanne Marie Ford stepping into the head-writing roles. Both Deidre Hall and Susan Seaforth Hayes have shared glowing feedback about the new writing direction.
As we approach the launch of the new head-writing duo’s material, we’ll keep you updated with more story predictions. According to upcoming spoilers, expect some major comebacks and sizzling romances to take the spotlight, so stay tuned!
