A lot of B&B viewers are hinting that the producers of the show might know what they are doing, even though some people think they don’t know what they are doing at all.
By miscasting someone like Rebecca Budig as Taylor Hayes, the show is generating the kind of buzz that will make people want to watch the show, even if it is for all of the wrong reasons.
Needless to say, the internet went off with a lot of people suggesting that the producers of the soap are purposely trying to rile up fans by making the kind of casting decisions that would light the comments section on the internet on fire.
Some have commented on the matter with, “I believe the absurdity of this monumentally idiotic casting decision can be summed up by considering the fact that Budig’s last role was as a mother to a 10-year-old child (very believable), and now she will be a mother to a 37-year-old woman and a 35-year-old man (as unbelievable as it can get).
“I’ve said for a long time that Thorsten Kaye has been the worst recast in decades, and I stand by that. This casting stunt tops that, solely based on how ridiculous it is. Like others have said, I think this will be short lived due to Brad’s past with getting excited over a new toy.”
Another critic wrote, “The acting is important, but folks on here know that I always complain about styling a recast correctly. Taylor is a tall, long haired, BRUNETTE woman who is confident and mature.”

“Brad needs to realize this is not Zach and Greenlee meet again, but this is supposed to be TAYLOR. Style her correctly or the character will not look right opposite KKL. She needs 6 inch heels, dark long hair, and some elegant dresses once in a while. She needs to look like Taylor too.”
