The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Victor's Shocking Move, Uses Michael's Sordid Past To Punish Him?

The Young and The Restless spoilers and rumors tease Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will make a shocking move-he’ll use Michael Baldwin’s (Christian LeBlanc) sordid past to punish him! Longtime Y & R fans will recall Michael wasn’t always the standup guy he is today, although his younger brother Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) was even worse!

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: That Dungeon’s Been There A Long Time

Victor’s dungeon he’s been keeping Jordan (Colleen Zenk) imprisoned in is certainly something from an evil time in his past-even though the Newman Ranch house has burned down, it survived.

It was a former bomb shelter underneath the house, and when Victor was still married to his first wife Julia Newman (Meg Bennett) his insane jealousy took over. Similarly to his forcing Jordan to eat Brussels Sprouts off the floor of the cell, he forced Julia’s lover, Michael Scott (Nick Benedict) to live off rats!

Victor even had closed circuit cameras so Michael was forced to watch as he and Julia got busy in the bedroom. Michael may have died down there had not Julia discovered him there, similarly to Cole Howard (J. Eddie Peck) discovering Jordan!

Y & R Spoilers: Victor Newman Digs Up Michael Baldwin’s Past

Michael’s past doesn’t have torture and imprisonment of anyone in it, but what he did do perhaps was just as bad, if not worse, and Victor digs it all up. In the early 1990s, Christine Blair (Lauralee Bell) worked at a law firm with him-he mentored her until he made unwanted sexual advances, and she reported him, leading to a lawsuit.

Michael had a history of mistreating women, including Christine’s neighbor-he married someone else but still pursued Christine; she caught him making advances on a business trip and got him fired. Michael quickly found a job at a prestigious firm, but Christine took the matter to their disciplinary committee-Michael fought back, claiming Chris had set him up.

He paid someone to drug Danny Romalotti (Michael Damian) and take incriminating photos, and when the person threatened to expose him, Michael killed them.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: An Eye For An Eye?

Michael was never charged for the crime, but he was found guilty of harassment, lost his job, and his wife left him-still he didn’t give up. Michael apologized to Christine and informed her about his plans to leave town, but his true intentions were much more sinister.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Victor’s Shocking Move, Uses Michael’s Sordid Past To Punish Him?

While Danny was away, Michael deceived his way into a neighbor’s vacant apartment and then broke into Christine’s place by frantically digging a hole in the wall.

He hid in her closet, patiently waiting to attack her-fortunately, Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) rushed in just in time and caught Michael on top of Christine in her bed. Paul shot him, and Michael was sent to prison and despite claiming insanity, he remained incarcerated for four more years.

Y & R Spoilers: Most Of Genoa City Has Forgotten And Forgiven, But Not Victor!

Most of Genoa City has forgotten and forgiven those long ago events but not Victor-even though he wasn’t in town for many of them, and finds out the records aren’t expunged.

Victor tells Michael he’ll never work as a lawyer again, digging the dirt up and planning to publicize it, which could be even worse than what Christine struck back with.

But Victor’s in a bind in that respect because of the legal concept of double jeopardy-but just because Michael has been reputable for years doesn’t mean that isn’t in him. Things could get very, very, ugly before it’s over, if the worst sides of Victor encounter the worse sides of Michael!
