General Hospital Spoilers: Olivia’s Pleasant Surprise, Carly’s Anger, Jason’s Explanation
General Hospital spoilers and updates for Friday, March 29 tease a pleasant surprise, continuing anger, and an explanation.
Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) gets a pleasant surprise, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) remains angry at Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) arrives with an explanation for Sonny.
Coming Up On General Hospital
At GH, Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) awake and has a request. Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) asks him if she can get him anything and he wants to talk to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes).
Dante is fully in his right mind and it’s obvious he has full recall and memory of what happened when he was shot.
Dante will want to tell Anna his side of the story regarding his shooting and tell her Jason and he were both shot by the sniper-who wasn’t Jason. Anna will learn important information, although there is a lot of it she does already know.
Valentin Cassadine Makes Arrangements
Elsewhere, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) makes arrangements and he’s driving with a passenger, to whom he tells “we’ve come to an agreement”.
It looks like he’s got disgraced ex WSB Director John Brennan (Charles Mesure) in the car. This has to have something to do with the investigation FBI Agent John “Jagger’ Cates (Adam Harrington) has been doing and forced Jason to infiltrate Pikeman. Perhaps he’s taking Brennan to talk to Cates, since Cates was nowhere to be seen at Jason’s arraignment.
Hospital Conversations
Meanwhile, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) is with Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) at the hospital, and she happily tells him someone’s lucky to have him in his corner.
She is more than likely talking about Jason, although she could be talking about Dante as well. Soon, if they don’t know already, Elizabeth and Danny will find out that Dante is awake and Jason got bail.
Danny believes in his father’s innocence and when Dante tells his side of the story, he’ll be proven right. That will be a relief to Elizabeth also, having to deal with a very angry Jake Webber (Hudson West) who believes Jason shot Dante.
Car Meetings
Back to Brennan, he is still in his orange Pentonville jumpsuit so it can be assumed Valentin made arrangements to take him somewhere in his custody.
Brennan says he was starting to think he’d been abandoned, making it sound like he and Valentin have been in cahoots about something.
It appears like only the two of them are in the car unless they have a third person with them as well. Might Valentin still be much more involved with Pikeman than previously admitted?
How will that affect his daughter Charlotte Cassadine’s (Scarlett Fernandez) welfare and his broken relationship with Anna?
Olivia’s Pleasant Surprise
Olivia appears to be home at the Quartermaine mansion when she gets a pleasant surprise via phone call. Excited, she exclaims “WHAT?” which can only be a call to tell her Dante’s awake.
She will rush to the hospital with Rocco Falconeri (Finn Francis Carr) and with Danny, all three will rush to Dante’s bedside.
Olivia will be so relieved Dante’s himself and has full memory. She’s had enough of loved ones waking up from a coma and thinking they’re someone they were thirty years ago!
Carly’s Anger
At Sonny’s penthouse, Carly’s still mad at Sonny, as she shouts “What has happened to you!” She was trying to get Sonny to take into account the many times Jason came through for him after Sonny, belligerent, said he didn’t owe Jason nothing!
Sonny fully believes that the reason Jason never contacted anyone that he made it off Cassadine Island alive is because he’s been trying to kill him! Carly’s on Jason’s side, knowing he didn’t shoot Dante and wasn’t trying to kill either Dante or Sonny!
Jason’s Explanation
When Jason got his bail and was released after his arraignment, he’d told Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) he couldn’t come home just yet-and now he’s at Sonny’s.
Sonny didn’t show up at the arraignment and that’s why Carly went over to give him a piece of her mind! Now Sonny is forced to listen to Jason explain what’s been going on the past two and a half years.
Sonny asks Jason to tell him why he should believe him? Will Jason explain about Jagger blackmailing him over RICO charges being held over someone, and will Sonny believe him then?
