GH Spoilers: Encouraging Friends, Comforting The Fearful, Breaking Up And Breaking Free
General Hospital spoilers and updates for Monday, March 18 tease encouraging friends, comforting the fearful, breaking up and breaking free!
Coming Up In General Hospital
Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) provides encouragement, Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) comfort, and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) breaks up and breaks free.
Correct Diagnosis
In Dr. Kevin Collins’ (Jon Lindstrom) office at GH, he’s been talking to Marshall and Curtis Ashford (Robert Gossett, Donnell Turner) and Stella Henry (Vernee Watson).
He knew of the doctor’s reputation who misdiagnosed Marshall with schizophrenia and gave his opinion for the misdiagnosis. In Kevin’s opinion this Dr. Paul Braddock (uncast) was a bigot, and diagnosed Marshall falsely because he was poor, young, scared and black.
Marshall likely responds that his misdiagnosis came because of racism. Kevin tells him he correctly diagnosed his misdiagnosis!
Encouraging Friends
At the Invader office, Diane continues to encourage Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) to run away from the paper as fast as she can and let her work on getting her law license reinstated.
Diane thinks she can get the disbarment reversed, and wants Alexis to return to being her law partner. However, Alexis apparently thinks Diane is rambling with whatever she’s talking about. Alexis is gesturing wildly with her hands as she asks her friend how does any of this have to do with her?
Comforting The Fearful
At the Quartermaine mansion, Lois sits on a couch with Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) and tries to comfort her, putting her hand on her arm.
It’s good that the two overcame their differences because Olivia really needs her friend-she tells Lois she doesn’t know whether to be relieved or terrified.
It’s a relief Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) is still alive, but it’s terrifying that he hasn’t woken up-that means he may never wake up!
It’s been over two days since Dante was brought into GH and operated on, and although he remains stable, he’s still in critical condition. He’s also comatose-and his heart did stop a short time at the scene but CPR got him back.
GH Spoilers: Breaking Up And Breaking Free
Josslyn is livid as she confronts Dex Heller (Evan Hofer) over the information Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) revealed. She had seen Dex disguised as an orderly go into Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) hospital room a while back, when Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) had ordered a hit.
But then Sonny changed his mind and called off the hit, but Josslyn still can’t believe what she’s hearing. It’s a dealbreaker for Josslyn, as she angrily tells Dex she never thought that he would cross this line-she’ll break up and break free.
General Hospital Spoilers: Nina Reeves Requests Ava Jerome’s Help
At the Jerome Art Gallery, Nina requests Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) help, likely with getting Sonny back. She pleads for Ava to advocate for her, but it’s becoming difficult for Ava.
Ava has been developing feelings for Sonny herself, which makes things very awkward for Ava’s friendship with Nina.
Nina doesn’t really know what’s going on with Sonny or her family, no one’s giving her a clue. It’s hard on Nina especially when Sonny keeps pushing her away, even when she wants to be there for him.
GH Spoilers: Sonny Corinthos Continues To Sit With His Son
As for Sonny, right now he’s at the hospital continuing to sit with his son, and tells someone he guesses this is it for him. Perhaps another family member has come to relieve him because everyone wants Dante to somehow know that they’re there.
While it’s true that people in comas often know what’s going on around them but are not able to respond, it looks like it’ll be a while before Dante wakes up. Sonny will also interact with Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) who’ll come by and check in.
