General Hospital spoilers reveal Brick (Stephen A. Smith) is intent on smoking out the mole in Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) organization.
There will be no more close calls on Brick’s watch. Unfortunately for Dex Heller (Evan Hofer), Brick’s attention is about to be covertly turned squarely on him — and he’ll have no idea.
While Dex is trying to be careful as he digs for dirt on Sonny’s other employees, it’ll come across to Brick as rather suspicious that he’s doing so at all when Sonny never asked him to.
If Brick stumbles upon information on the funds Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) transferred to Dex’s account, it’s hard to tell what could come of Dex as Brick — or even Sonny — attempts to get to the bottom of who else is paying him.

Brick is already aware that Dex has an off-shore bank account, and he’s just alerted his boss to the reality of the young man he’s been working with for the last year and a half.
But Sonny isn’t going to act on this right away — not without all of the information. When he goes in for the kill, so to speak, he likes to have the upper hand.
As Brick digs into Dex’s business activities and finds out where the most recent payment he received came from, it’s going to come as a devastating blow he will struggle to share with Sonny.
The mob boss just started getting past his son’s betrayal. Learning that it was Michael who paid Dex will inherently make Sonny assume his own son is trying to kill him.

When Sonny confronts Dex, it just might end up far worse off than hanging him on a meat hook and letting him go a day later. But that memory will come flooding back to Sonny in a timely manner.
As he starts to put the pieces together, he’ll realize Michael was protecting Dex all along. Why did he come to the restaurant that day to talk Sonny out of harming Dex?
Why have they been caught speaking even when he and Sonny were at odds? Dex’s answers may all come too late and fall on deaf ears at this point. Rumor has it he’s not going to give up the truth about why Michael hired him — which will only make Mikey look worse.

It’ll have to be Michael — again — who shows up to save the day. He’ll have no choice but to confess to his father, and he’ll have to confess everything.
Merely telling him he was looking out for him isn’t going to cut it, because Sonny will know Dex has been a plant from the very beginning — and he and Michael were at odds when Sonny first allowed Dex into the business.
