Y&R Spoilers Update Tuesday, January 30: Schick Get Cozy, Jordan Escapes in the Prison Fire?
The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, January 30 tease that Schick fans will be pleased that their favorite couple is getting some airtime. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) have a rich history, and on Tuesday they vent about being without a romantic partner. They each have new career goals but their lack of a love life finds them wondering about the future.
At the same time it’s possible that Sharon and Nick see his daughter Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) and her ex Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) getting cozy. Ouch.

Elsewhere Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) is meeting up with her ex Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) at NE. When Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) shows up Nikki panics since she’s going behind her husband’s back with Jack.
Not in a romantic way (at least not yet!) but Jack is helping her to stay sober. That was her last AA sponsor’s Seth’s (Brian Gaskill) job. But when Seth fell off the wagon Nikki had no choice but to cut him off and send him packing.
Jack offered to be her white knight, and Nikki accepted even though she knows it’s not such a good idea—that’s why she’s guilty and keeping Victor in the dark.

It appears that the secretive couple dodge a bullet as Victor gets a distracting phone call. Jack takes this opportunity to remind Nikki that she needs to be honest but Nikki ends up getting her way again.
What was so important that Victor stopped his search for Nikki? He’s alerted to a fire at the prison where Evil Auntie Jordan (Colleen Zenk) is.
Victor is told that the fire killed some convicts while others escaped. The authorities have no idea if Jordan is dead, alive, or escaped, so
Victor springs into action to save his family just in case.

Meanwhile, Jack’s wife Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) is smarting over a confrontation with Nikki that went down last week. Diane assured Nikki that she has no problem with the ex’s secret pact, but Diane tells Jack that keeping Victor in the dark is going to come back to bite them.
