General Hospital news says that fans are making some pretty big threats about the show. A lot of them are threatening to stop watching the hit ABC soap altogether if significant changes are not made. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.
General Hospital Fans Making Threats Over Sonny And Carly
On Monday, the hashtag #WhyIQuitGH was trending on X, which is the social media platform that was previously known as Twitter. A lot of soap fans couldn’t help but gripe about all of the different reasons why they quit watching General Hospital. Many of them said it was because of the mundane storylines while others complained that everything seems to revolve around Sonny Corinthos and Carly Corinthos and whether or not they were ever getting back together again.
Some complaints included, “More on #WhyIQuitGH Everything Carly related in 2021. GH became the Carly show w/ cameos from other characters & forcing romantic Jarly on us knowing the fans didn’t want it was stupid. How stupid? When Jason was killed off later that yr?” along with, “#WhyIQuitGH I quit when vets were overshadowed by the Sonny, Carly and Jason show. I watched GH for romance and adventure. I can not stand the mob. Never could. I am admittedly a Robert & Holly fan. I also adore the Q’s. Alexis was always a favorite too. Now she’s wasted too.”
Another General Hospital critic wrote, “There’s not a single interesting storyline. The stories are boring, drawn out too long, and unbalanced. Certain characters like Carly always win. Characters like Liz and Sam get no story. There are too many children centered in adult storylines.”
And then there was this comment as well: “#WhyIQuitGH. Sonny Carly Sonny Carly Sonny Carly Sonny Carly Sonny Carly Sonny Carly Sonny Carly Sonny Carly Sonny Carly.”

I have been watching 50 years,I love the show.. Wish they did’nt drag out the story lines so long.. But I like Carly Sonny Chase Sam all of them,the cast is fine with me.. I don’t care for the new Molly..I would love to see Jordan back with Curtis

I agree with most of the comments. However I no longer want Carly and Sonny back together however if it happens I will be overjoyed. I just do not want him with that conniving Nina and wonder why the writers is making Nina win. Nina and Carly have both done awful things but Nina takes the cake and bring back the Sonny we all know and love and stop dragging these storylines for years.

I agree with everything posted here. I don’t despise the Carly character, I’m just tired of Sonny & Carly as a couple. That doesn’t mean I like Sonny & Nina together either. I just don’t want the show to revolve around Sonny & his newest lady love and the mob mess.
General Hospital story lines are boring and all over the place However I like Carly and Sonny that’s what makes it interesting at times But all the secrets need to come out I don’t want them back together they make the show MY Opinion
I feel General Hospital, is a fave of my, because it covers many topics, often mirror of my family’s life. With that said, so nice they included ALS. Since I’m living with this disease. Also my youngest daughter was a serigate for a couple. A healthy baby boy. Thank you GH!

I love Carly and Sonny. Put them back together and watch the audience grow. Bring Jason back and we have magic.
I think people should stop complaining and if you are that upset then don’t watch. It’s a soap opera just watch and enjoy. As for Carly and Sonny, well I personally love them together, Nina is just not in their league. She’s the one who whines and keeps screwing up. I have been a very long time viewer and yes there are ups and downs but that’s what makes it more interesting. My daughter’s and I are always discussing the show and it’s characters and we don’t always agree but that’s what makes it fun. So enjoy!
I LOVE the show with Carly and Sonny featured frequently!! Don’t stop!! I actually get bored when the focus is NOT on them! I do agree that the children take up too much time on the show. PS Please bring back Steve Burton as Jason – he’s the only actor that should be in this part!
